Jevon "The Freak" Kearse was, well, a freak. He has extra long arms and big hands - some off the chart wing span. He is slowed down some since his rookie year but he came into the NFL as the original freak of nature at DE.
Still say he was a few years too soon in the NFL. Had he come out when the 3-4 OLB was as highly demanded as it is now, he'd be up there with Ware and Merriman.

I don't think you can call Manny Lawson a freak of nature. Sure it's cool he is tall and fast and can jump, but if that doesn't translate to anything on the field it doesn't impress me. For someone so fast he looks so poor in space. There are a bunch of high jumpers for USA track who are just as tall, can jump higher, and run just as fast but I wouldn't call them freak athletes.
