Speaking of boneheaded plays, this is a little off topic, but don't feel like making a new thread - does anyone have a link to the video where the WR or Corner ducks when the ball is thrown at him?
I tried like 50 different variations of "reciever / corner + duck / dodge / hide + ball / football" etc. :(

Brandon Lloyd is who you are looking for... I believe he was playing for the 49ers at the time.

Can we make Jake Plummer the 2004 winner by default for his left-handed interception throw?

Might as well. Orton was just paying homage to one of the greats. That's lasting appeal.

Tony's is so bad for the simple fact that he admitted that he didnt even know Phillips was there. He thought Hurd was wide open.

you didn't nominate Brady Quinn when he went to throw the ball down field to steve heiden and the ball went backwards out of his hand recovered by Minn which lead to a touchdown.

that was more uncoordinated, not brain-dead stupid.
Jake Plummer's left handed interception was way more stupid than Orton's.

2008- Brett Favre throw vs OAK when he basically threw the ball up in the air and right to DeAngelo Hall and Hall had himself an easy INT. Embarrassing.
Favre also had a brilliant throw vs SEA when he threw it up to where no one could get it but the lone Seahawk defender. Done in the snow but still not smart.
Shame I can't find videos for either play. I am sure the other fanbases though could remember the plays.
As for this vote, Cousins.

Certainly not the best of throws but not the WORST I have ever seen....

Had to go with Rivers here.
Romo had a man there and had he Phillips not been there he may have even got there, looks like Romo just didn't see Phillips.
Cousins was hit trying to win the game and threw it, that was a good defensive play as much as anything.
Rivers just panicked and threw the ball into a nothing spot with no player near it.

I could sort of see it with Phillips' blue jersey blending in with the blue endzone.

I had this same thought, there was definitely some camo action involved. It's the only explanation anyway.

Clearly, you didn't watch Nick Sheridan last year.
