Scott, if you're the GM of a 3-4 team heading into next year's draft with a possible need at nose tackle, where do you value Cody? You mention that he could go top 15 or slip into round 2, but where do you personally think he should (as opposed to will) be taken?

Hopefully he doesn't continue the trend of 300+ lb players from Alabama running the 40 with their shirts off.

Didn't Casey Hampton have some similar problems as well? But he was playing with more talent next to him, so his number were better.

I think a NT for the 3-4 is like a QB of any offense. Its one of your key pieces you need, you don't pass up on him.

If I am a 3-4 team I view Cody as a mid-first rounder.

Thanks, Scott. You're the man.
Definitely curious about Cody to the Jets. Defensive end is the popular pick right now but I bet Ryan would be very confident he could do some nice things with him, and with Jenkins' injury trouble he'll be an intriguing guy if available. Probably could get both on the field at the same time at points because Jenkins is so athletic, but Cody may need to get eased in and Jenks could use somebody to spell him so it could be a nice fit. Should be picking somewhere in that range you mentioned as well.

I wouldn't mind Cody as a mid rounder. I guess he has potential. But Jenkins for some reason seems like he has more muscle then Cody. Like built better.

I'm liking Cody more. Yeah, he's completely limited, but he isn't ALL that bad of an athlete for his size. I don't like his weight or his height for a nose tackle. Not conducive to getting leverage at that position, but Shaun Rogers did fine with being a tall nose tackle a couple years ago so I suppose it's possible.
I probably like him more for the blocked field goals. Yeah, I'm a *****. But at least I'm honest.

A couple years ago? Shaun Rogers is doing it now.

Meant that he started last year.
