It would depend by how many England (if they win) today. Should they win by more than one goal, and then they tie Slovenia, they're automatically the first seed based on goal differential.
If England wins 2-0 today, then ties Slovenia, then US beats Algeria 1-0, England is the 1 seed, it would depend on the final score from the England Slovenia game. The US and Slovenia would have the same goal differential and they currently have the same amount of goals scored. Next tie breaker is goals against, i believe?

Wouldn't it depend also on what England vs Algeria's score was later today?

That would make it even more complicated. Then you would have a 3 way tie with every team having a same goals for and against.

I believe after goals for/against, it goes down to shots on goal or possessions. Some crazy **** like that.

Watch us end up completely tying Slovenia in all tie breakers and then have Slovenia get through by drawing sticks. What a ******* joke. Eat **** and die Coulibaly.

Oh and watching England play Algeria really makes me wonder why anyone thinks this team is a legit contender to be mentioned in the same breath as Spain, Argentina, and Brazil.

Because England talked themselves up. They're barely a step above the US and always have been.

England are being held back by Capello, I realise this seems hypocritical at this point, since he got us through qualifying easy, but the 4-4-2 was only good against the weak teams, here we look stifled, predictable and ineffective. For me, we have to go with a kinda 4-3-2-1 system.

So I've been at lunch and missed following the game online.
Has England been playing like crap, Algeria really well, combination of both? The last thing the US needs is a confident Alegerian team going into next Wednesday.

We look dire, I would love to know just how bad our pass completion percentage is...

No question England especially with how France qualified. If this ends a draw it looks amazing for team US.

Wow...England.
Now all the US need is a tie and they can go through if England loses/ties, unless they tie Slovenia like 5-5. But the US has a 2 goal advantage in goals scored and Slovenia is sitting pretty.
