Systems
What are some systems that players flourish in, but when they leave that system, become much less productive in new systems?
The only one that comes to mind is the pittsburgh Linebackers. Most recent example is kendrell bell, who flourished in Pitt but has been bad in KC.

Jeff Garcia and an offense that doesn't use the West Coast style.

I agree entirely. That scheme masks their deficiencies. It isn't even fair to compare "corners" in the Tampa 2 with corners that play man-to-man primarily. I know most of the corners turned analysts say similar things, i.e they are practically playing an entirely different position. They have to jam, maintain outside leverage, and tackle. They don't have to worry getting beat deep, nor will they face the criticism other corners face because of that fact.

Could have been due to Injuries?
Any Linebackers we left that never did anything... also usually retired in 1-3 years afterwards.. past their prime perhaps?

Tampa Two defensive tackles that end up as 3-4 ends. It almost always turns out ugly.

Garcia is a good example, as stated before, but A.J. Feeley is another example of that as well.

When has AJ Feeley flourished at anything other than being sub-par QB?

You could make the case that Portis hasnt been as goood. Most rb's that leave DEN are never as good as they were.

ravens LB's always seem to do worse. Also 3-4 OLBs dont adapt to other schemes well
