He always has. People forget that Gradkowski was a pretty decent game manager for Tampa a few seasons back. Not the ideal passer, obviously, but he wants to put in the work it takes to start, which makes him immediately superior to Russell.

ya gruden saw a little something in him, its obvious he's much more effective than jamarcus. ive always kinda liked him, i also liked charlie whitehurst from that class more than all the other qbs drafted besides the big 3 of vy, leinart and cutler. gradkowski is a high percentage passer, which is virtually the only way to move the football with a team like this. hopefully al will realize moving the football is more important than taking wild chances down the field, that probably work 5 percent of the time.

This game showed:
Russell sucks. Gradkowski can come into this game hurt and still put up better #'s then Russell. Hopefully with this win, Russell will not see the field ever again for us
We have a running game. 92 yards total on the ground isnt great, but should increase more with Gradkowski at QB. The oline played great
Our DT's sucks. Warren and Kelly are bad. We need to use our 1st and/or 2nd on the DT position. Suh or McCoy sound great right now.
We have luck go our way? For once this year we have things go our way. Dumb turnovers by the Bengals really helped us, but we also had 3 turnovers

Pretty inspired effort, although we continue to get gashed by the run.

Anyone who is a disciple/student of Gruden's offense I respect. All hail Bruce!
With Bruce at the helm I could actually see a scenario play out where we finish the rest of the season at .500 (3-3). There are some winnable games.

We might have been 5 and 5 if we started Bruce from the beginning.

We have 3 very winnable games left IMO.
vs Redskins
@ Broncos
@ Browns
Maybe we beat Dallas this thursday too? They didnt play well today and maybe playing on thanksgiving can inspire us to win.

The short week to prepare for an away game in that Stadium isn't exactly the easiest test for the team. Dallas hasn't looked good lately, which I'll take as a positive for us, but this team still has its rough patches and has only taken down quality teams this year when those teams helped us along.
Not to say Dallas doesn't look like a team that could do that, but I'm not expecting a win.

Post game press conference.
I like what Gradkowski is saying in it. He doesnt talk him self up, or just about himself like Russell.

I've said it before. The best part of taking JaMarcus Russell over Calvin Johnson is that it led to taking Zach Miller.

Sure, that's a nice way to look at it, but to be honest CJ>>>>>>>>>>Miller. And I love me some Zach attack.
