He's been hurt all season. I wish he would be put on IR because he isn't good at all right now. We signed a longsnapper this week and I expect him to be used once he learns the playbook.

wow. Did Greg Mattison really just send a corner blitz? Using his best corner, who is covering the teams best WR?
Get that old fart out of Baltimore, that was the worst blitz dialed up I've ever seen.
Pathetic.

Bad News - We are probably going to lose this game
Good News - Everyone we need to lose is losing.
- Texans are on top of the Dolphins
- New England is in control vs. the Jags
- Cincinnatti is struggling w/ the Cheifs
- Oakland, who we have next week, is losing as well.

Our offense is playing good since the first two drives. And before that god awful play by Walker, our defense was playing well. Hopefully in the second half they can step it up one more notch. Things dont look optimistic right now though.

nice to see Foxworth rebounding from a bad start to the year. All these players on defense are really being held back by the awful managment and play calling of Greg Mattison.
NOW LETS SCORE OF THIS TURNOVER!!!

I wouldnt put this on Joe at all. He was smothered all day. Terrible pass protection. Cousins was dominated, terrible technique all day. And TERRIBLE discipline. If there was one game we SHOULD have won, it was this one. We outplayed the Steelers, plain and simple. We just self destructed, terrible discipline. Makes me sick. That Walker call at the end was crap though.

We guys, we are still the #6 seed, root for Philly though, unless you want Denver to win which would keep the Steelers out of the playoffs :p
Now, We were clearly the better team today, but what killed us today is what has killed us all season long. the god damn mother ******* penalties. Has it ever gotten across Harbaugh's head to work on discipline and sportsmanship? My god, Brian Billick had this same problem but it didn't last all friggen season. GET IT FIXED HARBAUGH!! WHAT THE **** MAN!!
Frank Walker has got to go, Zbikowski's return had us in very close FG position but the god damn bonehead Walker cost's us another game. Remember the PI vs. Minnesota? yup, it was Walker. He's absolute garbage and he better be gone come next year.
and what is w/ this officiating? I know we are guilty of those flags thrown, but where are the flags in our favor? There was clear Pass Interference on that pass to Heap in the endzone, yet no call.
On Zbikowski's interception, Antwan Barnes was held, yet no call.
I'm not upset at the refs calling so many flags on us, cause we do deserve it, but they really do need to call it both ways.
But in the end, we did look good out there minus the penalties (**** you Cousins and Walker) and we are still in the playoffs, but we gatta beat Oakland next week.

When Flacco is getting sacked 3 seconds in because our RT is getting killed he needs to get the ball out quicker. Either Cameron is calling long ass deep plays or Flacco isnt finding the check down option quick enough.
Also that illegal contact was questionable call on Frank Walker but that guy gotta go Walker isnt good.
We just beat ourselves plain and simple.

couldn't have said it better dude. But at least we're still in the playoffs and we broke Pittsburgh's 100 yard streak :)

In noticed watching him out there but Demetrius Williams still it's his what 3rd of 4th year and he still doesn't know how to properly run routes. That's pathetic. He's basically only good for a jump ball.

are your Steelers even going to be in? Not trashing talking, but if the Jets and Ravens both win next week, it will be the Jets and Ravens as the 2 WC represenatives.
However, if the Jets lose to Cincinnati, who will get in? is it Denver or Pitt?

Or our receivers aren't getting seperation. He could throw the ball, but it would be forced. I'd rather he just throw it away.

The Steelers would get in since they beat Denver earlier this season. The question I have is who would have the higher seed if both the Steelers and Ravens made it in as the wild-card teams.

we would, we have the better conference record as well as division record.
But only way Pittsburgh can get in is for eiher Baltimore/New York to lose, as well as the Broncos, correct?

Yes for the first two, I'm not sure on the third though. However if the Broncos and Steelers end up with a similar record, PIT gets in. So I don't think it matters to the Steelers if the Broncos win.

For the Steelers to get in, they need:
Steelers win, Baltimore lose/tie, Jets loss/tie, and Texans loss/tie.
I personally think the Bengals will show up next week. I am not too high on the Jets because their rookie quarterback and inconsistant defense.
