if they make it how could say they aren't. the jets minus sanchez's/special team's are definitely a top 6 afc team. i know limiting mistakes is a major part of football, but the jets have controlled almost every game this season, with stupid mistakes holding them back. and just like the steelers blew gimme games, so did the jets (bills, atlanta). i agree with Jvig, the top playoff teams are the best teams, and if the jets win sunday then i dont see how it is debatable.

LMFAO, i'm not directing this at you HWJ, but it is ******** in any single way you think about it, that the Steelers being in the playoffs had ANYTHING to do with the Colts and their season.
Are Steelers fans really that stupid and self centered? The world doesn't revolve around your team, ******.

They're either really arrogant or really dramatic. That is how to desribe the fans on the Official Steelers Message Board.

in real life?
cause yeah i go to school with lots of steelers fans, and it really does get annoying listening to them talk about the team. i understand they have a rich history but ive experienced some very homer steelers fans who feel the team is perfect in every way. for example almost all refuse to admit william *** is a poor excuse for a starter.
then again ive experienced that with penguins, eagles, giants, jets, flyers, rangers, and devils fans as well. yay for mixing alcohol and sports!!

You'll get that with every sport and every fan base. Even the bandwagon fans who claim they were fans at their worst. I live in Arizona and I have to deal with all the people talk about how they were always a Cardinal fan when a week before they played in the Super Bowl they were saying that they still sucked and were ashamed.

I had a steelers fan tell me Rex Grossman was a great Qb and was the reason the Bears went to the superbowl. I'm serious.

I had a Colts fan one time tell me they'd trade Peyton for Urlacher because the defense sucks.

Every fanbase has their fair share of ignorant diehards. The Steelers have a large fanbase, so the number probably increases in proportion.
In conclusion, although Steeler fans may annoy some of you, at least we're not the Cowboys.

Someone please explain how Jets fans can be so annoying and have so few fans then...
And yea, It's Jets then Steelers. Probably Colts or Chargers after that. I'm sure people think Patriots fans are #1 though...

Why do you think Jets fans are so annoying? Every team has it's annoying fans but I just want to hear your explanation.
Edit: Or are you saying that because you're a Pats fan?

Cowboy, Raider, and Giant fans are a lot worse than Steeler fans.

I don't see the Pats or Bengals laying down against 2 good teams that they could see again next week. The Bengals, especially, have nothing to gain by resting at this point and having to play the Jets two weeks in a row...

I think that the Bengals want to keep winning and playing for Chris Henry. That's why I think they'll play all four quarters.

My personal experience with them hasnt been the greatest. I went to the Jets, Pats playoff game a few years back and the Hets fans that were sitting behind me kept spilling beer on my and screaming the J-E-T-S chant every play. One even got into a name calling argument with a kid and his father once they game was clearly decided.

This is just wishful thinking by a Steeler's fan. Marvin hinted that if the Patriots lose, and the 3rd seed is available, the team will play for the 3rd seed but otherwise Palmer won't play a full game.

Of course it is. We need so much to happen to get in I just cant see it happening.
If the Steelers win and Houston lose at 1 I'll start to believe but I just don't think its going to happen.

I guess that's the reason why they ain't selling beer at tonight's game. But for somebody to sa the Jets have the most annoyingest fans with so few fans is very ignorant. If we had a poll on the worst fans, I would go out on a limb and say the Jets won't have the most votes.

No one is laying down to avoid this Steelers team. Worst Steelers defense I've ever seen.

He is doing what he can today to make sure the Steelers win. Good for him. 2 sacks already in the first half.
