If there is one game Denard needs to stay healthy in, it's this one.

I think OSU wins the division next year now. They lose to Michigan State in their 5th game, and MSU loses 2 games, and those teams are 1 and 2.

Has Tressel ever lost to Michigan State? He's won more games than probably any college coach with only great defensive play and a good running game (sometimes even without a running game) and a really bad passing game. The suspensions might get reduced and Pryor might play in every big ten game if so.

Chris Balas posted some interesting information about Rod and Harbaugh on Michigan's rival site...

So? Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't ever happen (I don't know if it's happened or not). MSU is in good position to take down OSU next year playing without some key players and I don't think MSU is going to lose any major pieces of their team to the NFL. You make it sound like the teams didn't finish with the exact same record this year.

About that...perhaps you've never met Greg Jones? Sparty loses Jones, starting WLB Eric Gordon (one of the Big 10's best LBs), S Marcus Hyde, CB Chris L. Felon and DE Colin Neely on the defensive side of the ball. They also lose leading WR Mark Dell, All-Big 10 TE Charlie Gantt and I believe a couple OL.

no, i'm not saying it can't happen, just that it wouldn't be as safe assumption as one would think. Plus I have a sneaking suspicion that Michigan State won't be nearly as good next year as they were this year. Closer to what they were 2 years ago I would think.

Michigan State offensive coordinator Don Treadwell has been named the Miami University head football coach.
Treadwell, a former Miami player and assistant coach, will replace Michael Haywood, who left earlier this month to take the head coaching position at Pittsburgh.
Treadwell, 50, was a Miami wide receiver from 1978-81 and coached wide receivers and running backs under Randy Walker from 1992-93.

As the 2nd smallest Big Ten school, I would like to offer my congrats to Iowa for turning in a $27M profit in football this year and $14M overall athletics profit.
Also, for those wondering, that's why Iowa can afford to pay Ferentz $3M+ a year even though we aren't really ever an elite team.

Well, I'm sure Iowa City's booming drug business probably doesn't hurt things, either.
Too soon?

Never too soon.
See, the difference between Iowa and the SEC is that we don't pay our players or their families. We let them come up with their own way of unethically making tons of money.
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. We're just trying to feed our players for a lifetime, that's all...

With the Big Ten Network and bowl money, I'd guess every Big Ten program is currently turning a profit.

Here's a good question:
Outside of the Ohio State-Michigan game, what's the second biggest rivalry in the Big Ten?

Right now, I think it's Michigan-Michigan State.
With the new divisions and the addition of Nebraska, I could see the Hawkeyes and Cornhuskers developing a pretty good rivalry, too.
I'm extremely excited to be attending the Outback Bowl tomorrow. It'll be my first time attending a Penn State game.

Obviously Iowa-Purdue. Why else would the Big Ten make them permanent cross over rivals?

Michigan/MSU, with Minnesota/Wisconsin a close second.

It's Michigan's third biggest rivalry, but somehow it's second for the conference? I hope that was sarcasm.

I would either say Minnesota/Wisconsin or Ohio State/Penn State. The problem with the former is that Minnesota sucks. The problem with the latter is that Ohio State doesn't consider Penn State a rival.

could very well be Rod's last game. Rumor's are he has talked with Maryland over the phone about their job, and Clemson could go after him as well.
If Harbaugh wants the job it's his
