Yeah but throwing a deep ball with his slow ass release is a recipe for a strip.

Anyone who questions this guy's velocity or his ability to throw the deep ball, they could not be further from the truth.

I'd say Tony Pike and Jimmy Clausen put a slightly better deep ball out there than Tebow for what it's worth. I agree, however, that he has the arm strength and displays solid touch and accuracy on his deep ball.

QB group looks good. It should be better than North qb group easy.
Cooper had up and down moments but is clearly struggling to catch a harder pass.
Webb does not show anything to be a wideout. He should go back to qb.
Ben Tate rocks. Love him. He blocks well. Dixon lost balance.
Mays has shown nothing as a gamer. Wait for a real game?
Cody scared me. Slow but power swats he made.
Atkins shows good strength playing inside.
TE Jimmy Graham could not block well. He stepped back too far.
|
You aren't drafting Graham for his current abilities. He's probably the least developed player in the Senior Bowl.

Jared Odrick I haven't seen much on him but what I saw today he looks good. Nice first step, quick, moves well. I think he could be a nice UT in a one gap system. Not a Sapp like player but a guy who gets into the backfield and makes things happen. Also looks good in stunts.

Odrick has been really impressive this week to me. He's always played well for Penn St, but hes really lighting it up.

Tebow can barely throw a spiral. While I agree on his deep ball and such, I think he has a lot of issues that he will have to fix. Indianapolis would be smart to draft him and let him sit behind Manning for 3 years. Then trade him if needed.

Then, there’s Brandon Graham. There he is, saying “Hi, I spent the entire year getting double teamed on a terrible defense and still wrecked **** like my name was Haitian McSichuan Earthquake.”

Bucky Brooks a former CB in the NFL has said that Taylor May's stock is dropping citing a lack of the ability to stick with receivers and not being around the ball in the run game... Anyone surprised? I'm not. And he said there were a few big hits that made him stand out.
Sounds just like his college career.

I think by his performances he has a little advantage over Brian Price for the 3rd DT. So he could go really anywhere, best place would be 5 tech though.
Any good C play?

He's not going to be covering too many WRs i dont think, you'll have to put him on the TE and let him use his speed on deep balls. I still like him but he frustates those that really want to see him succeed.

Brian Price is better than Odrick, same quickness in the pass game but Price plays with more discipline and is more stout in the run game. And I think Dan Williams has taken hold of the third DT spot.

Throwing a nice spiral isn't really a good thing. Kurt Warner has one of the ugliest balls around and has a career completion percentage of 65. They actually did a thing on Sports Science and it showed that the tighter the spiral the more inaccurate the passes were. It actually creates a knuckle ball effect.

i'm sure this was on that show and kurt warner may be an exception (don't watch him enough to even see he doesn't throw one, i assumed he does), but wouldn't you prefer your qb to throw a spiral?
that's like saying don't wear a seat belt because if your car catches on fire it'll melt together and you'll be trapped.

In sports science they said that it needs to wobble a little not a lot. Its still a spiral, but for every 4 revolutions it wobbles a little..that is how Drew Brees threw the ball.

This is why Earl Thomas will be drafted before him, I don't get why people think he'll all of a sudden be good at the things he's struggled at for years. But hey, he's big and fast and hits hard, so if that's what you want in a safety fine. I just don't think you can ignore this stuff any longer.

wobbly ball is okay as long as it does kick off some velocity.

Berry and Thomas should be the first ones taken off the board. I like to see Allen or Jones challenge Mays for 3rd S off the board.

I'm so tired of the Chiefs drafting SS that can hit and play the run but can't cover any one...

Then Tim Tebow should be the 1st pick in the draft, adjust your boards accordingly.
