The man who did that is Iowa's WR coach.

How many of them are worth anything in the NFL?

That wasn't the question.
You doubt Iowa has the most prolific WR coach in the country, and we do. It's that simple.

he said his top 3 were Purdue, Iowa, and Alabama last I saw. Lynch is probably gonna go out of state, and the Big Ten and SEC schools will be among his favorites the whole way. We're waiting for him to visit OSU this spring before we start getting excited.

FSU just picked up Commit # 9 for the 2011 Recruiting Class:
Cortez Davis a 6'5 DB From Mainland committed to FSU at their 2nd junior day. Davis was previously a Clemson commitment but just decided to switch to FSU. This also can't hurt with teammate RB Marlin Lane who very well could be a 5 star RB.

That's big. I don't think Lane will be a 5*, but he's one of the top backs in the state and this will help FSU big time. It's becoming quite obvious that he won't stick with Clemson.

I mean Lane would be nice but even if he doesn't commit we are in good shape With Crowell the RB out of GA, we already have Beverly committed and Buie is considered a Nole lean right now. This junior day might not be done with commits as their is a possibility still that TE/OL Jordan Prestwood might commit and very well could see Ja'Juan Story a WR commit.
I think Davis might very well play CB for us which is hard to believe because of his size but we already have Karlos Williams locked up who will play Safety and we are getting closer to having Clinton-Dix coming aboard who might play the other safety position.

I doubt you guys land Crowell. Isn't he a Bama lean?
I wouldn't get caught up with the early rumors. Last year FSU looked good for Marcus Lattimore, Eduardo Clements, Brandon Gainer, Gio Bernard. You guys ended up missing on Lattimore and basically turned down the other 3 while settling on Smiley.

He's considered to have Bama as his leader, I dont think anyone can deny that but the way FSU is going right now anything can happen with the program. Ever since this new staff came in they are busting their humps trying to lock down top prospects in FL, GA, and even trying to get a couple in Alabama. Now whether they can coach obviously remains to be seen but no one can deny the job they are doing on the recruiting trail.

I want some pedigree this year. :)
Gamecocks are after Alshon's brother, Philip River's brother, Art Shell's nephew, Devin Hester's cousin. Yup.
It's pretty obvious what SCAR is looking at this year though, really. Speed, speed, speed on offense, quality O-Lineman recruits, and big time front 7 help, especially at DE.
Luckily...they should be able to tackle all of those needs this year, with potentially some major talent. Their best shots at the blue chippers, remain with Clowney and Shell.

Jeremy Cash is gonna publically verbal to Ohio State pretty soon. We need him to help us recruit other So.Fla. guys. I wouldn't mind getting Ryan Shazier, dude is a freaky athlete and those Florida guys always kick butt in Columbus.

Well Prestwood was at FSU's junior day today ...that has been confirmed and he is a big time FSU fan and was seen leaving with his FSU gear on as he left. If I have confidence out of any of the 4 of Crowell, Wright, Story, and Prestwood of committing he would be the top guy I would expect. Dont get your hopes up with Prestwood but I think Wright has stated Alabama is his leader and Crowell and Wright want to play together in school

Texas added OL Garrett greenlea and DE Kendall Thompson today. Matt Hegarty was also offered and said he plans on deciding this summer.

I still doubt it. I'll take whoever has been the WR coach of USC for the last 5 years.
Mike Williams, Dwayne Jarrett, Keary Colbert, Steve Smith, Patrick Turner, Damien Williams.

Also, it's kind of funny that you make the comment, "What have those guys done in the NFL" and then come back with that list.

I know, but it was just funny that you switched your view so abruptly and named a handful of players that have probably been worse than the ones he mentioned in the NFL (for the ones that are in the league).

USC has had had three different receivers coaches in that time.

USC's wide receivers are more recruiting elite HS players than it is about coaching. Plus they play a pro-style offense with top passing quarterbacks in a less defensively-able conference.

Who leads right now means next to nothing unless the kid is planning on committing sometime soon, which neither Crowell nor Wright are. Auburn was barely even a blip on Dyer's list at this point last year.
Auburn will soon start putting together their list of guys who they will push very hard for. Crowell and Wright will be in that group, although signing Dyer may make it a bit harder to land another 5-star RB like Crowell.
