Bama I believe you are due to an update to your sig seeing how VT earned another conference title.

I think he meant SCAR, lol. I was predicting Clemson b/c he wants to stay in-state, & b/c of Swinney's slick persuasive style & awesome recruiting track rcd, but SCAR seems to be the priority team.

You know, actually I think he's right. Who cares if SEC coaches are ******* with these kids' lives? It's all about football and winning, right?
|
You could say that exact same thing about Chizik taking the last Heisman winner at Auburn 2 yrs ago given his past from Florida & several pimping rounds at Miss. St.

Clowney's gonna go to Carolina, this has been done for a while. I don't buy the Clemson talk. 31 signees for the Gamecocks this year after signing 23 last year.

Hey, don't insult Saban like that...
If there's a 3rd string DB or TE on scholly that he thinks isn't good, they are just as likely to have a "career ending" injury by Bama's definition.
Give the guy a little credit, he doesn't just limit himself to the one position he's replacing...

Don't be sarcastic, Treat! The kid isn't going to be playing for Bama, so at least when he's informed via letter than his scholarship isn't being renewed, he'll have the opportunity for playing time at Jacksonville St.!
When you think about it, this is Saban doing the kid a favor!

I think Clemson might be the Winner. Even with them having a bad record they were still able to pull top recruits in.

TH must refer to DJ Fluker, he's the ORT who will have to face Kouandijo daily in practice & be humiliated by him like Dareus did.

Well, if anyone seemingly comes out of left field for him (or any prospect), then I'd put my money on USC. Whether it's a legit 11th hour switch, a silent commit who was told/chose to play the media/coaches/fans, or was convinced through...other means, who knows. Just seems like Kiffin has a habit of one shocker every year. Lamar Dawson could be the only one for 2011, though.

I'm quite sure Clowney will be a lock for Clemson just off the strength of how Bowers was so successful & the surprising recruiting class will only help out.

You're probably over-thinking it. He's a gamecock unfortunately. Always has been.

Sportswriters in Alabama will have to learn how to spell his name & they won't like that. I wish they would give Fluker the boot though. I'll shoot him in the foot myself.
Cyrus is the cherry on top of this recruiting class.

Wow. If this is true, it's a sad and disturbing twist to the De'Anthony Thomas USC to Oregon switch.
If true, it sounds like he did the right thing.

I really dont believe that. If that were the case they would have put him in witness protection. If they really want to kill this kid and his family they will have no problem finding him in Eugene lol.

He couldn't pursue football in witness protection. You've got to balance the good with the bad. Getting out of the immediate area would be number one. We'll see if it's true. I'm sure you will LOL if it is.
