here's an idea for your next thread:
will any RB with the initials FG from the "U" break the rushing record?

Toughe question... I'd have to say Gore and Portis are neck and neck. Edge still a close 3rd. McGahee right behind, theyre all prety good

Nate Clements
Marcus Trufant
Antrel Rolle
Tye Hill
Kelly Jennings
Walt Harris
Harris is more of a one year wonder, he'll still be good, but Spencer should be up here

1. Edge (still had almost 1200 rushing yards for the Cards last year, if he stays above 1200 he could stay at the number one spot)
2. Portis (before injury he had a solid season yards wise, still near the top of his game, 7 tds, 550 yards, decent)
3. Gore (huge year last year, doubt he repeats that since he will be the key to stopping the Niners for d's..another year of 1400 or more he could move into number 1 or 2)
4. MacGahee (900 yards last year in a tough area, he still is a solid contributor, could see 1200 out of him this year)

I think a better question is who is the best long snapper in the league? Brain Jennings? I think so.

Edge, at the age of 28, still has at least two years of 1000 or more, and will reach 15,000 total yards for his career. One year removed from two straight 1500 yard seasons, and last year having almost 1200 on the mediocre at best team like the Cards. Edge still has it. This year with Leniart's projected progression and maybe reaching a .500 record or 7-9 record, and with new coaching staff Edge is guranteed 330 rushes, he will get at least 1100 yards. Last year in his last 5 games he got his only 3 100 yard games. Thats when Leinart was looking solid and defense couldn't key on James alone. If by the 3-4rth week Leinart gets back to that form then we coudl see Edge maybe reaching 1400 yards. Thats being optimistic though. He is still the best RB from the U, RIGHT NOW

Ethan Albright is by far the best LS in the game.
I think career wise Portis will be the best. As of now, I'd like to say edge but he's stuck in a a bad situation in AZ. Willis should get lots of playing time in baltimore, so we will see how it turns out. I still think portis is the best of the bunch.

edge still had 1100 yds last year, and once DG stuck with 1 line he averaged 4.5 yards per carry so i expect 1500 out of him next year

Maybe the ugliest, but not the best.
Brian Jennings is a Hall of Fame long snapper. Maybe the best of all time. I want Brian Jennings to have my baby. They would come out fast, straight and right into the doctors hands, face up.
