Most dominant perfect game since Armando Galarraga right there.

Giants celebrating on the mound just brought back great memories of 11-1-10

The first perfect game in Giants history. One-hundred-and-twenty-nine-plus seasons and 19,781 games without a perfect game. It had to be Matt Cain. He could have retired to fight crime yesterday, and he still would have been one of the most legendary pitchers in the history of an ancient franchise. Instead, he keeps adding to the damned legend. And it is so, so glorious.

Yeah, I'm not a big baseball fan and that made even me geek out like I had been watching it my entire life.
My mom has family from the area (her cousin) and he is a season ticket holder, so I'm sure he was flipping the **** out.

Not only did Cain throw a perfect game, but he had 14 Ks!

That was the most dominant performance I've seen from start to finish(the other perfectos/no hitters were when I'd tune in midway through when I was clued in on it). Giants are my local team in my area(as well as my NL team)
Man was that fun to watch. Just wish I was at the game because the atmosphere at AT&T was electric. I was there for Bonds HR #756 and when they clinched the division 2 years ago and just seeing the crowd going crazy made me wish I was there for this

Apparently the Tigers are interested in Carlos Quentin?
Also, the Tigers recalled Ryan Raburn, who was hitting .190 in AAA. Awesome.

I find it hilarious that the Mets are appealing Dickey's one hitter last night, saying David wright made an error.
Wonder if they will also appeal Beltran's fair/foul ball that gave Johan his no hitter.

Well you can appeal a hit/error and not a fair/foul ball. I do agree it's dumb though but not because of the Johan no hitter thing.

I can't believe what a story this has become. Who gives a ****? The appeal doesn't hurt anyone, even if it does have 0 chance of being overturned. Why not try and help RA out? He is the man after all.
And I wish T24L was still here to enjoy this series with me. I love you buddy.
