The Rangers are pricks. Having a damn good shortstop and third baseman already with both the best third baseman and shortstop prospect in the minors is horseshit. **** them in their faces.

Best run organization at this point? I assume you'd still go Rays though because they spend less money.

I swear I'm not trying to pick you on today but come on! Butler is not a power hitter. His career high in HR's is 21 which was 3 years ago.

Ron Washington is pretty horrid at in game decisions. He's an amazing fielding instructor and appears like a pretty awesome guy to have manage you, but he's worthless in managing decisions in the playoffs. Not that it matters, TLR sucked at it too.

Other than that, yes. Rays need to be better at grabbing depth.

I meant more front office but yeah I agree on all of that 100%. Could you imagine if Maddon was the manager of Texas?

For the Royals he is (1. It's a big park, 2. He's the middle of the lineup guy, 3. His slg is over.500). Especially this year. A lot of the doubles he used top get are turning into home runs.

Main points being he's the clean up hitter for the host team and has better power numbers than one of the guys that was picked over him.

I hate how everyone is pimping Bryce Harper. Now that Chipper Jones is replacing Matt Kemp, the Final Vote for the NL should be between Aaron Hill and David Freese IMO.

Moose is the better power hitter compared to Butler. It doesn't matter though cause neither of them should be in a HR Derby.

He's still weirdly overrated for what he is. He's a very solid hitter, but people act like he's this amazing hitter when he's not. He doesn't have any speed, his power is only starting to come out this year, he's a DH because he cannot field at all, he walks some but not a ton like Adam Dunn or something, and he'll be overpaid for the majority of his career.

Moose isn't in the all-star game. He deserves it more than Fielder. Home crowd guys like him should be included in the derby. Just an automatic thing.

When the hell are they gonna hold the ASG in DC? It's a new ballpark and the capital of the country, it clearly should host it in the near future.

Lincecum passing on a huge 9-figure deal in favor of a 2-year deal and going to FA was such a massive fail. Good luck with that now Tim.

Such a shame to hear about Chris Carpenter. Dude is a true professional whos been an unbelievable teammate for 9 seasons in St. Louis.

Been through a lot in his career, I hope to see him pitch again. Best pitcher to put on a Cardinal uniform since Bob Gibson.

Yeah I saw that. Is he just not locating his pitches? Velocity down? Almost feel like some time off so he can clear his head would do some good. Make up an injury and put him on the 15 day DL.

Sorry, but I hate Carpenter.
He is a good pitcher but I wouldn't exactly call him a "professional."
He even got Zach Grienke, who seems like one of the most chilled dudes in baseball to sound off a little.

He can't spot his fastball half the time. The HR he gave up was right down the middle.

It's one of those things where you hate him if he's not on your team. Love him if he is. And Reds announcers do make him out to be a lot worse than what he is. I remember the fight between Cinci and STL a few years ago, I was listening to the Reds broadcast feed later that night and all the broadcaster was talking about was how one of the main reasons Rolen Left St. Louis was because of Carpenter, which couldn't be further from the truth.

As for yelling at Napoli, Carp yells everytime he allows a homer or something bad happens and then he gets out of an inning. I think he's just pissed at himself most of the time.
