Ondrusek should of let the ball go foul. Helps out the Padres. Idiot. Picking up that bunt is stupid.

Hines, I beg you. Please just run away with the central.
Walt has made one good move in 3 years and he refuses to make a good deadline deal. So end this ******* ****.
We will probably talk Jim Edmonds out of retirement.

I said it in the beginning of the season. Stubbs needed to grow up and be a ******* ball player for this team to succeed. He isn't and the offense is putrid.

Yes, let's blame it all on one player. This is the key.

Im not blaming it on Stubbs alone. But he was clearly a big part of what the org wanted to do on offense. He needed to step up he didnt and we have nothing to replace him with.

I would have liked to have gotten Bourn last year, but I understand why Jocketty decided not to. The Reds may not have gotten Latos if they did trade for him, and Latos is really starting to pick it up. He looks like the guy who was worth all those prospects.
I'm not too worried at the moment because I'm convinced Pittsburgh is going to decline. St. Louis is my chief concern. And as much as I would like to see the Reds acquire a bat, I'm not sure if there are any prospects I would be willing to give up.

Move Billy Hamilton to center, put him in AA (he's run his course in High A), and boom you have your future at center.

It sounds like they will soon be moving him up. Probably immediately following the futures game. I don't think they see a need to move him to center yet, though I probably would. Sure, he should be able quickly pick it up, but there isn't much reason to keep him at short.
Unfortunately, Hamilton doesn't help for the next year and change.

Agreed on all counts.
I dont know if Houston would have sent Bourn to us anyways.
Hamilton will end up in CF. After the futures game Id move him there and to AA. If he finishes strong in AA I seriously consider him in AAA by 2013.

They probably would of, IMO if you're in the Astros situation you don't care where your getting the prospects from, as long as you're getting them.

Yeah but like it was said, we might not get Latos then, and he is looking all kind of fantastic of late.

Mike.Trout.
and holy hell am I glad that C.J. Wilson and Weaver are pitching the next 2 games. It is horrible to watch sh*tty pitching and right now the Angels have that at the 3/4/5 spots in the rotation
Oh and go Pirates. I hope they don't fade like they did last season in the 2nd half. It would rule to see them make the playoffs. Cutch rules

The Cardinals will ruin it, its just what we do. We kill dreams. Ask Milwaukee. The Pirates will fade and we will win.

Cutch won't allow it
speaking of, ESPN analyst Jayson Stark has McCutchen and Trout as his first half MVP's for each league.
