Most teams have a streak ended in their rotation and consider it a good thing. Just so happen ours is Bedard and he kills win streaks.

Chris Carter just hit a monster walk off homer. That's the A's 7th walk off win this season.

That was a McGwire-like shot. I don't recall the A's having a right handed bat with that type of power since Big Mac left in '97.

Chris Carter is FINALLY producing for the A's. In 4 games played he is hitting .500/.538/1.333 with 3 HRs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs. It's about damn time, I remember reading that he was the next Ryan Howard a few years back.
And last years A's don't win games like this. Now they're .500 and 3.5 games back in the wild card race. The team is scorching hot right now after a huge rut at the start of June.

I absolutely agree. I think that's the case for the A's the past few years which is why they have hung around .500 and just below since 2007.

And you were right. Small sample size has ruined too many dreams already. It's time to spread awareness.

Did you actually watch the Carter HR? Because I just watched the Trout HR and the "official measurements" may say only 9 feet, but the gap between the two HRs is much greater than that.

Good, then you should sign him to a 15-year, $300 million contract extension right now.

I didn't, I really just looked it up to be a hype machine. Im happy to see him showcase his power at this level, I loved him as a prospect but at 25, how long until he solidifies himself as a major leaguer instead of a AAAA player? I hope this is his breakout campaign.
