Everyone is saying otherwise.. Saying that the front office kept jerking him around and turning him into something he isn't. A change of scenery could be great for him. Especially in PNC.

I'm okay with it. The success of him and Craig Kimbrel amuse me.

And I can say we found our future closer but lets talk facts. We found a good reliever for a AAA hitter and future depth player

Another future closer? They just traded for one this past offseason

I wonder if this move suggests that the Pirates will trade Marte.

How was he jerked around by 2 different staffs? He was given a chance to start and was put all over the lineup. He just failed. He couldnt hit. I was his greatest supporter when he was first called up

I'm just saying what others are saying. Every Toronto fan hates this trade except for you.

Even if there is only a 10% chance of Snider becoming what he was supposed to be it's still a good deal because Brad Lincoln is Brad Lincoln. I could understand it a bit more if the Blue Jays were one or two bullpen arms away from a playoff birth but they're not.

All of those guys suck.
And Nathan is a relief pitcher (which is worthless by your standards)

Not to overly excited about Snider. Not a bad move, got a bat with some good potential for Lincoln, but this team needed help now. And I don't think Snider down the stretch will give it this year. I like this a lot more looking at 2013 than I do for the rest of this year.
And MLBtr says Pirates still looking for a right handed outfield bat.

Nathan was in the class that was actually worth something substantial at one point.
And I have a feeling Liriano is going to kill it with the White Sox. It's just how these things work with the Twins. Ortiz, Kubel, Hardy, etc.

Pirates were looking to get a guy with control. Snider isn't going to be a free agent till '16. Great trade. Bryan Morris should be up tomorrow and won't miss a beat. Snider (by Toronto fans perspective) has been mishandled and should/will smash in Pittsburgh given regular PT.
