Next time, dont crowd the plate....
And Im pretty sure Jones didn't start his swing until all 3 pitches were in the catchers mitt....

Cutch stands there the whole time. Wish I was able to see this game. Apparently he was PISSED in the dugout.

It looked like a genuine HBP by Chapman. Nothing intentional but Cutch seemed to look at Chapman and he [Aroldis] took offense facing Jones

First pitch up 3-0, no on and 2 ours? It's questionable. Tomorrow's game is going to be great, though. Glad I can see it.
Edit: I'd say the same thing if the Pirates did it too. So don't pull that card.

Mark Reynolds needs to die in a fire! That being said the whiff from his bat constantly striking out would prevent this from happening.

What on earth would be the reasoning for it being intentional?
It was a inside pitch that got away a bit. Not like Cutch has been a problem all year. He is hitting in the .230's against Reds pitching.

This is going to be a lot of fun. He doesn't have the raw stuff, but he is such a dominant pitcher. I'm really excited to see this guy perform.

Brett Lawrie was pulled from the game in the 1st inning. Not sure why yet.

I didn't think he was, it was just odd because there wasn't anything obvious that happened. He just struck out and that was it.
EDIT: They just announced it was because of tightness in his ribcage.

When a Red gets hit tomorrow, it won't be intentional.
Plus, when he throws three straight heaters down the middle for strikes the next batter makes it seem intentional as well.

I get it you have to defend Cutch. He is your boy.
But come on. Why would we hit him? If we hit anyone it should have been Walker or Jones. They usually kill us.

Because you don't throw at a player's head area. That's where Chapman threw. When he showed no remorse for it, that makes me kind of upset. I'd say the same thing if Hanrahan threw it like that at Votto or Phillips. That's not what baseball should be. I highly doubt that was unintentional. He had location on ALL of his pitches the whole inning and then that one gets away when Cutch is up? Eh.

No remorse...why should he? **** happens.
He wasn't head hunting. He has never gone after players before.
The most offensive thing Chapman has ever done was do cartwheels after he got a save when he blew a few right before that.
Accidents happen. If it was intentional, he would have thrown at the hip or back like everyone else. And he has such good control, as you have said so why would he miss on that?

Agree to disagree then. No matter what else is said, we won't change our minds. Might as well end it now.

Funny enough, I meant to say Jones instead of Walker. Sigh.
