I want more replay, but not the way they do it now. Takes forever for obvious calls even.

There is enough technology to have umps not even behind the plate calling balls and strikes.

It's not hard to have an ump in a replay booth, he can correct calls in 20 seconds tops and remove umpire arguments and crap. Wouldn't be that hard to do, but Selig is a piece of ****.

that play would of taken 5 seconds to look at and get right
which would of actually saved sometime as Gibby went and argued for about 45 seconds
and Upton just ****** up a easy fly ball out for some reason...

Matt Cain should be getting some CY Young love as well. He's probably 2nd or 3rd right now behind Kershaw maybe Dickey.

I know that, but thats not something I like. There should be someone that looks and corrects things like the Marte call today, but it shouldn't take as long as they take now. Don't make the umps walk anywhere, put someone in a booth.

Damn, the Reds only play 18 more games vs teams above .500
The Pirates have 23 and the Cardinals have 30. Not cool. Oh and the Braves have 16.

Didn't Pitt just go through a stretch of about a month where they didn't play a single team above .500?

Yea he definitely needs to be in the discussion especially when you factor in the ballpark that he plays in. I think I saw during a game that he averages like 2 runs less per 9 in GABP than the average for all other starters. Pretty impressive IMO. Ever since he changed his delivery hes been pretty lights out.

Pretty sure the Reds series was the first one against an above .500 team post all star break.
