I'd drop CC or Haren and add Wainwright.

Despite all that, over the next 3 years he still wouldn't be in my top 3. 3 years is longer than it seems. Johan is a lot different than he was 3 years ago from today, I'm not sure he's going to hold up so great over the next 3. He got into the NL at the right time.

That's fine. Of course I left out some guys that I didn't really want to. I didn't use Strasburg since he hasn't pitched yet. Wainwright, Johnson, and Carpenter were a hard decision. I just wanted to change the conversation haha.

John Danks is a really good young pitcher no one ever talks about because he plays on a crappy White Sox team. He has been pretty damn good the last 2 years and has been rock solid again so far this season.

Lester too. I'd rather have him than Johan.

Hopefully Huddy can creep back into the conversation. haha. He's still having a few control problems, but I'm banking on a Chris Carpenter like resurgence to greatness. lol.
meh. I just wanted to post about Huddy's greatness this year. :P

Dam said Danks was better than Mauer so unless he starts throwing SHO every other game he's a failure to me.

Hmm Lester I actually forgot about somehow. He def. needs to be on as well. I don't think we could put Hughes there just yet.

Not yet. But I think he'd be ahead of Johan. I don't think any team would trade him for Johan over the next 3 years.

Well yeah you're not going to trade youth for an aging pitcher but it also doesn't mean Johan can't put up numbers as similar.

The Braves/Dodgers game is great but Chip Caray has forced me to turn the game off. I feel sorry for Braves fans, the guy is a nightmare.
Ethier swings and misses at strike 3 with a runner on 3rd and the Dodgers down 1:
"Strike 3 looking! Ethier didn't know what hit him! He swung and missed!"

Yah, I hate Chip Caray, he's nothing like his daddy. At least we had Boog last year and Glavine every once in a while this year.
That beast, Venters, coming in to close it out. 1 strike away from 9 straight wins. mmmmmm.

Ubaldo
Lincecum
King Felix
Halladay
Cliff Lee
I'll be THAT guy and say Jon Lester.
