In all honesty, no. This one didn't end up affecting the outcome of the game at all like the perfect game one, but that was at least a fairly close play at first. This was probably one of the worst calls I have ever seen. Again, it didn't affect the outcome of the game so it doesn't matter, but this is wayyyyyy more obvious then the two against you guys.

One year from today, the Mets will add to their payroll a 47-year-old, past-his-prime power hitter who has a reputation as a malcontent—a player who has been retired from professional baseball for nine years and won't play another game again.

starting on July 1, 2011, Bobby Bonilla will remain on the franchise's payroll for 25 years, collecting an annual salary of $1,193,248.20. Those are the terms the Mets agreed to Jan. 3, 2000, when they bought out the final year of Mr. Bonilla's contract.

Well that's pretty sweet.

Here's a better question: How come Schlereth isn't in the majors yet? The kid is a huge talent and has the stuff to get guys out. Is it a money thing?

Given the game situation, I don't know how that isn't the worst call of the year.
Oh, and Schlereth and his 6.7 walks per 9 innings are getting called up.

Yeah the pitch that was a good 7 or 8 inches off the plate, outside, and prolly even a little low was the worst call of the year. I think the umpire had some more drinking or something that night.

He's been slowing down. But he's still super sexy. Big hit Sunday night. He's being so much more patient. It's showing up in the his walk total a bit but he's consistently working counts deeper this year. The weirdest thing is that he's been pounding lefties. Most of his HRs are off lefties.

As of now, probably Morneau if the Twins win the Central and Cano if they don't.

Cano is definitely in the conversation with both of them. His numbers aren't quite as good but he plays a more premium position than first base. I'd have Morneau with a slight lead followed closely by Cano and Cabrera in that order.

Cabrera has 16 more RBI, 2 more HR, and a higher slugging percentage.

RBI's are stupid, and the slugging percentage difference is less than Morneau's advantage in OBP.

Pirates seem to be heavy favorites with Mexican 15 year old pitcher, Luis Heredia. I don't know if I should be too excited since the Pirates were suppose to land Sano last year.

I don't think OBP wins MVP votes.

I'm talking about who should win it, not who will. Morneau traditionally fades down the stretch though so with that factored in Cabrera might be the favorite.

In the top of the 7th inning, the Reds have scored 9 runs off of 3 hits, 6 walks, 1 error and 1 passed ball.

Ryan Ludwick is headed to the DL.
Tremendous, that means more playing time for Nick Stavinoha. I think I'm going to be sick.
