If this Capps deal sets the market for relievers, the Tigers should be able to get Joe Mauer for Jose Valverde, right?

Jesus. Rape a plenty. They won't but hopefully the Mets try and bend someone over for Pedro Feliciano.

Tigers could probably even get something good for Joel Zumaya ... maybe Mike Stanton or Stephen Strasburg.

Btw, I was dead wrong about the Gose/Wallace rumors. Unreal. Ed Wade did pretty well there.

Wade did no worse than the Indians did in the Cliff Lee deal or the DBacks did in the Haren deal. Most of the time, trading prospects for players ends up being a good deal for the team that trades for the players. That's why it continues to happen...

Just because Wade made a trade just as bad as two others deals doesn't make it good. All 3 screwed the pooch.
If the White Sox trade Hudson for Edwin Jackson then they are morons as well.

Hudson is not starting tonight. I think Williams is trying to get some kind of three way deal done, but damn if I know who else is involved.

It's official now. Hudson and another prospect for Edwin Jackson. Kenny Williams is a re-tard.

I really don't understand the Edwin infatuation some GMs apparently have.

Apparently the White Sox are trying to flip Jackson to the Nats to get Adam Dunn. Huge power boost.
edit: So much for what Jim Bowden says.
