Yeah. Girardi didn't do a great job with the bullpen tonight. And the loss of Tex really hurt us in the 8th when we had bases loaded. Berkman and Thames made 2 of the outs in situations when they normally would have never been in there.

Actually, FOX really would love that considering they will be entering a new 20 year, $3 BILLION dollar contract with the Rangers. Having Texas in the WS would be a great thing for promotion.

Incorrect again. Locally it would do well. But no matter what team is in the series it will do well in the local market. Nationwide the ratings will be crap.

edit: Oh right.. I said the Yankees would win tonight. LMFAO. Yankees took one up the ass. For all the money they spend, they are a disgrace. They ******* suck.

I would take both NL teams over Texas at this point, but they'd both be great series. Matt Cain looked tremendous today.

Both NL teams are very strong. I don't even know who I would rather face.
But first things first... I don't expect New York to easily bow out. This still could go to 7 games. I can already hear the cocky NY fans when that happens... but yeah. I'm not counting NY out by any stretch.

I can't find tickets available in Arlington if the Rangers make it. Who pre-sales tickets any more? Isn't that supposed to be bad luck? Did they not learn from the Mavs pre-planning their Finals parade?

The ratings for the Yanks/Rangers were beat out by the Titans/Jags game so a Rangers/Giants WS would do terribly ratings wise. It would probably be the lowest rated WS of the last 10 years.

Yeah I think that's right near the bottom. At least with Anaheim they sort of had the LA rating where as with Texas they wouldn't have that huge market to draw upon.

That's not the point, D, and you know it. You were gloating about how the Rangers outbid, well, basically just themselves for A-Rod as if it were some amazing move in an effort to make people think that they can outbid the big boys for Lee. In reality, they badly outbid themselves to basically trade A-Rod for $0.20 on the dollar.

He absolutely hates the spotlight, so there's no chance in hell he becomes a Yankee given his issues with anxiety.

Yup. He wants Minnesota anyway. Also Texas maybe if they don't land Lee.

As a Mets fan I wouldn't want Grienke even though he's the man. Too much media and fan pressure and I would hate to see it get to him.
