Please the Blue Jays got lucky with Bautista. You can't blame the Pirates at all. I also don't think Bautista is taking anything. As soon as he fixed his swing he started hitting all the HR's in Sept 09.

Well, Felix showed you dont have to win a ton of games to win the cy young....if that were the case Price or Sabathia would have gotten it.

I guess it could be tougher in the NL with Doc and Timmy though.

Verlander is definitely in the discussion for Cy Young, it's ridiculous to claim otherwise. I'd give it to Haren right now, but he's certainly in the top 5.

Bigger question is if James Shields has a shot if he keeps it up.

Mike Stanton with a boooooooooomb off Pelfrey. JJ didn't look good at all tonight, only gave up 1 run in 5 innings before he came out after taking a grounder off his throwing arm though.

That was a ******* shot. All of his HRs are no-doubters. 35 is my prediction but I would not be surprised if he reached 40. He hasn't been hot yet and he's got 8, which is fairly respectable.

What he should have done is run up the grass a little further and then jump up into the mezzanine section right above there. There are a set of stairs almost immediately when you go up that isle that he could use. You can see the cop running around to where he would be when he started jumping up the wall. I havent seen cops up in the mezzanine section before though.
