Happy Thome hit 600, he played the game the right away. I don't think anyone can really debate whether or not he was a clean player.

Congrats to Thome from an Indians and Twins fan. Always seemed like a classy guy.

600 HR>3000 hits
Even with the steroid era.
Congrats to Thome. Truly one of the best power hitters of all time.

The Giants season is over. No way we can bounce back. Our 4 best hitters, Posey, Sanchez, Sandoval, and Beltran, are all out. What a shame to see exceptional starting pitching go to waste. and what a shame we traded two fine prospects for some washed out old rental players.
Good luck Braves, i'll be rooting for you guys in the postseason. Please knock out Philly!!

I read the x-rays on Pablo were negative so it might not be that bad.

Thanks for the support kind sir. I've been all aboard the Posey hype train since his college days so I was quite bummed when he went down. Of course once you guys knocked us out I was cheering yall on the entire way. San Fran truly is a beautiful city though. My gf took me out there last summer & it was amazing.

Josh Bell signed with the Pirates. The Nats signed Rendon, Purke, Meyer, and Goodwin.

O's signed Bundy, Esposito, and Delmonico, didn't think we'd get all three so needless to say I'm happy.

God damn. The Pirates spent some serious cash on this draft. Josh Bell was supposed to be unsignable....but I suppose five million talks.
Red Sox took care of business last night, signing everyone we were expecting to. Outside the "sure thing" kind of guys, I'm very excited about Henry Owens. I'm a little sick for projection lefties.

I'm hearing that we were going to take Bell but he was again "unsignable"
This is two years in a row that the Bucs have taken a player that was supposed to go to college and changed his mind with some big money.

I read a article today that said the PTBNL in the Twins/Tigers trade might be a MLB reliever on the Tigers right now but the twins won't get him until after the season. I'm not sure if I'm buying that tho.
