Everyone knew he would get thrown out at home. Slow person at third, great arm at RF. Geez.

Thankfully, Leyland didn't put in a pinch runner. Probably would've meant the game. Now we'll see if Cabrera even gets another AB.

Apparently I shouldn't doubt Mark Kotsay.

I should really invest in an at-home defibrillator. Might save my life one day, that is, if I can teach my dog to use it.

One more inning of Valverde and then we should see Ryan Perry, right? :)

Coke will go 2 innings before you see Ryan Perry.

Sending a pinch runner in for Cabrera would've ended it a long time ago. Rangers would've walked him if he came up again anyways.

He's too goddamn important to the lineup to bring in a pinch runner for. That intentional walk was the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time.

He iiiis beastly. Leyland had every right to trust Valverde though. It just wasn't meant to be.
I'm just happy I don't have to see Valverde's celebration eruption.

An awkward intentional walk, the most obvious great-defensive-play-one-half-inning-huge-clutch-hit-the-next by Napoli, and Nelson Cruz 3-run bomb.

Nelson Cruz is a post-season rape cyborg designed to kill baseballs.

The Bang Bus arrived and Jose Valverde jumped in.

And that is why I laugh when people say that Leyland should be considered for Manager of the Year. We have been winning in spite of him all season. He can go smoke another damn cigarette and die.

They have no one else. He threw 8 pitches in his first inning of work tonight. That wasn't the problem really.
