Supposedly Hanley isnt very fond of the switching positions right now. They arent going to sign him until then.

D'Backs bringing back Aaron Hill at 2 years - 11 million. About what I expect if he plays anywhere near the level that he ended the year at then it's a huge steal.
Most likely just going to go after Kuroda or some other vet pitcher to replace Saunders and we are done.

The Reyes to the Marlins thing is not correct. Anyway I'm surpirsed Hanley would be mad moving position because he and Reyes are close friends.

Good move by LA. I'm surprised that's happening though because of the ownership situation.

Man, the price of Cutch keeps driving up. :(
Looks like we are going to have to trade him soon.

Cutch won't make Kemp money. He will make a **** ton, though.

I like the black unis. I noticed there really aren't a lot of those around. Then I figured it's probably because they stand around in the sun a lot.

It's being reported that the Marlins offered Pujols a 9 year $225 million deal.

most baseball uniforms are about the same. most are pretty well designed and only a handful of teams aren't red and/or blue. they all wear white at home and gray on the road. in baseball it's been proven that classic always works when it comes to uniforms and trying to go avant garde is always a huge huge mistake (see 1970s and 1980s uniform changes for just about any team).

Agreed. Black drop shadow is ugly, and the two tone hat was as well. The blue hats with the gray jersey for road games is mint.

Lest we not forget the Mercury Mets!
That said, the new jerseys are snazzy but not nearly as cool as the New Cartoon Bird and orange unis for my beloved O's

I was stoked when I saw that they are going back to the cartoon. Awesome look.
