Has anyone ever gotten no hit by the same pitcher twice in one week? Because that's going to happen to the Twins tonight.

Might be worth trying, but I'm not sure it would work out. He's played some there in the past to mixed results...and that was the much younger, sprier version of Youkilis. He really doesn't belong anywhere besides first at this point.

I'll never understand why the Braves insist on having Heyward hit 7th in the lineup.

I hate Victorino so much. Glad they just called him out on that dirty slide.

He has the 5th best OPS on the team among players that have played 14 or more games... Also, he batted .227 last year. Not sure where you expect a .227 hitter to bat in the lineup.

Thank you, Ned Yost, for giving Felix Dubront about the only pitching match-up he could have possibly hoped to win against.

Among players with a sample size large enough to actually count, he's second on the team in OPS. Coincidentally, he should also be batting second.

I am preparing for LaHair's ridiculous season to come crashing down in some spectacular display of incompetence.
A .535 BABIP is sustainable right? RIGHT!?!?
Anyways the Cubs are quite a percentage more watchable than last years bunch. It says a lot that so many players are having surprisingly good seasons and they are still well below .500
Also, Jeff Samardzija is good.

It's so nice to see a prospect come up and make an impact the way Middlebrooks has the past few days. There's really not much more to be happy about with this team right now.

Will Middlebrooks>You
Last 2 games: 3 HR, 1 2B, 1 1B, 9 RBI
He's only been in the bigs for 4 games and has an XBH in all of them.

Beat me to it EE. We had a lot of impact homegrown guys come up like 5 years ago, but aside from Nava's five minutes of fame grand slam nobody has done anything worthwhile. It would be nice to see Middlebrooks sustain this with all of the high priced prima donnas we've been fielding lately.

You have Bobby Valentine. What could go wrong?

Lance Lynn 6-0!!
I have no idea what Matheny is gonna do when Carp comes back, Lynn is the only one of our starting five right now that has experience in the bullpen (well besides waino, but come on) but do you really send him back to the Pen? he kind of struggled with his command tonight, but his record is no fluke.
I can't wait to see this team when Berkman and Carp come back, god I wish Allen Craig could play 2b.

Why in the world would you have Octavio Dotel on your team?
