I don't know how credible Mike Preston is, but he's not confident in the Ravens beating the Steelers:

I feel like one of these 2 teams will represent the AFC. Once Pittsburgh improves the rest of the oline and if they ever decide to address the corner spot they'll be the best team in football. Hopefully we fix up our weak points before they do cuz I'm not big on Steeler success.

It is a big game for the players on Baltimore.. at least mentally.
As much as I hate to say it, being week 1 and everything. This is as close to you can get to a must win game imo.

Hard choice..
Ngata or Suggs imo though a white rice is a jersey I haven't seen much.

Rice or Ngata. I feel like those are your two big options.

Is that who you describe him as or is it really ERU?

I say it because they are as negative as can be. IDK If Preston ever had a fire Ozzie Newsome rant though.
BTW does anyone see this being a pass fest? Both teams have a lot of talented options at WR and TE, and we all know we arent running on each other. I really can see it happening especially considering both our secondaries are a weakness.

Bryant McKinnie is scratched. Interesting....
Edit: Read it wrong. It was the other McKinnie on your team lol.

Great day by the O-line, specifically bryant mckinnie, safe to say that he surprised pretty much EVERYONE on here; THANK GOD for Chuck Pagano and his willingness to rush more than 4 players!

What a great game on our part. Just amazing in every aspect. I've got such a good feeling about this season.

We were literally perfect.
The oline was out of this world. The pass rush was unbelieveable.
Webb really stepped up this game.
Terrell Suggs would be the best player of all time if he hated every team like he hates the steelers.
This should give Flacco all the confidence in the world, I expect big things from him this year.

Just a great game all around. I wish the offense would have done a little more in the second half but they were playing safer later on. No point in playing risky when you are up 20 and the defense is killing it.

man...what a first game!! absolutely amazing.
few comments -
PAY HALOTI NGATA
Chuck Pagano is a keeper. Great play calling and our pass rush was all over Ben.
Cam Cameron still needs to go, I don't remember exactly when, but it was 3rd-1 and he throws deep to Lee Evans, instead of just running Rice/Williams behind Leach and getting a yard.
Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta will make us forget about Todd Heap.(still love you though, Todd)
Why was Tandon Doss and Sergio Kindle inactive?
1 concern after this game is the status of our defensive backfield, Smith hurt his ankle and Carr re-aggravated something.

Because somebody has to be. Unfortunately we can't activate every player on the roster :(

So... is anybody too worried about the game with Tennessee? I'm not sure where I stand yet but I think we'll end up winning. The thing that worries me the most is having Jimmy Smith and Chris Carr hurt, and although I still have faith in the other three corners our depth has been depleted.
