I think our o-line just needs to learn to pick up a backside safety blitz. Its been so wildly effective against us the past two weeks Id imagine we are going to see it a few more times this season.

The announcers were wrong last night when they called Oher out on the Pollard sack, you always take the inside man as its a shorter line to the QB, but Rice needs to recognize the weakside blitz and adjust accordingly. Also, did anyone else see that it was Oher/Grubbs/Birk/Yanda/Cousins out there last night instead of Oher/Grubbs/Birk/Chester/Yanda?

The o-line also has problems against 4-3's. The Saints have one of the better 4-3 defenses in the NFL, so that is not good.

I guess they were trying anything at this point. We are in desperate need of RT or Center.

Other than the last play in the half, the defense was great when they had a time to rest.

I'm worried about this offense. The o-line is just plain terrible, and that is disrupting the running and passing game.

Bottom-line is, that we are indeed a second tier team.
Yet you can't keep putting our players in roles that they aren't suited to. Suggs and Ngata are the only guys remotely capable of being able to pressure the QB on any given play, yet we only rush three in crucial situations and they're mostly contained since each can be double teamed. The corners are also not talented enough to be left out there for any extended amount of time, yet that's what happens when we only rush three.

Honesly depending on how Harbaugh does his ass should be on the hot seat. Because 2008-afctitle game, 2009-divisional round 2010-???? If we regress to losing in round 1 we gotta bring up some questions.

I don't see how a young, first time Head Coach could be on the hotseat following 3 consecutive playoff appearances and what will be at worst, a 3-3 playoff record.

the sad thing is Ask Madden>>>Grand Pa Matty.

Even if Harb doesnt have say in who should be the coordinators he needs to sit Mattison down and said "Is this a ****** joke? How much are you getting paid for throwing games? Get your **** together!!!"

I disagree. I am as disappointed with the team as anyone, but I love the way Harbs has control of the team. Its pretty obvious he has more authority than Billick ever had.

Right now his OC is doing a terrible job, and if he can get someone else in the off-season, there is no reason for him to be on the hot-seat. Our organization is a lot like the Steelers, and just like them we like to stick with HC's for a while, and not have a knee jerk reaction with coaches like a lot of other teams do.

Harbs is a young coach still learning.

Harbaugh isn't close to the hot seat. Cam and Mattison are on fire though.

Positive things from the game though

-David Reed looked good on special teams. Good job on that big return and on punts.

-Even though Andre Johnson abused us, I saw some good things from Webb and Wilson. I would be for Wilson being brought back next year. Still pretty young and has the athletic ability to run with WRs.

- Kept the penaltys down. I think only 3 for 15 yards.

eBay is the best place to get good, cheap jerseys.

We just love to blame the coordinators don't we? While, I do think both can be morons from time to time (for real who the **** passes the ball with 1:20 left and a lead) but Flacco deserves some blame as well. He was incapable of making the plays in the fourth quarter when the team needed it most and if Flacco's inability to put teams away in the second half continues I don't see us competing in the playoffs now or the near future.

We all love Ray Rice but I wish he'd keep his head up and keep his feet moving more often, sometimes instead of being a little bit more patient he seems content on ducking his head in for a 4 or 5 yard gain which is great but at times makes him miss some pretty big runs.

You cannot go one post without bashing Flacco, can you? It wasn't Flacco's fault that the defense almost blew the game. It wasn't Flacco's fault that the defense gave up 18 points in a 10 minute time frame. You're funny.

It was Flacco's fault that Shaub threw that pick six, though. ******* Flacco!!!

Oh, and the Texans looked as if they watched and copied the Steelers in last night's game.

Flacco played well, he just needs to work on pre snap recognition, making audibles to pass protection or knowing where the heat is coming from. Flacco is a beast aside from his horrible pocket presense.

Living in Baltimore now, I've watched more Ravens game this year than I've ever wanted to. Flacco is very good. In my opinion his main problem is either hesistancy or confidence. It's hard to see the coverage on TV, but Flacco holds onto the ball WAY too long, and chekcs down way too often. The playcalling is far from great, but with such an arm, you think he'd let it fly a bit more. He's the anti-Favre.

I somewhat agree. Flacco needs to improve in his second half performances. He is a 101 Qb rating in the 1st half and a 86 in the 2nd half. Flacco still has a room for improvement and we will see how he continues to improve. He is only a 3rd year player, people seem to forget that.

Flacco crumbles with pressure, always has and hasn't made major improvements in that department. He gets way too flustered with pressure and loses his mechanics. I can only hope that he improves in this facet because his arm is special, he can make some throws that most QB's in the league can only dream about making with consistency.

His arm is pretty great. The way he can work those passes on the outside numbers is awesome. It may be a 7 yard completion but he threw it all the way across the field to get there.

i just wonder what happened to the Joe Cool of his rookie year. Baltimore was on his nutz non stop because he wasn t frantic like BOller and he had a arm just as strong.

Also Stallworth and McGahee came out and said that Cameron doesnt have audibles in his offense. Im sure he has protection audibles though so Flacco needs to work on that.

The more i see Flacco I wonder if he will ever step into the elite level of QB or if he will just be on a Tony Romo like level for his career.
