T.V.- The next Ultimate Fighter
I don't know about you guys but I'm addicted to this show. I have practically all the UFC's on tape, and I'm very much into mixed martial arts...so this show is right up my alley.
I was surprised to see Chris Leben get beat by that punk Josh Koscheck. I thought Leben would be more well rounded than that, but all he seemed to know how to do is stand and bang and then when Koscheck took him down he just assumed the guard and did...well, nothing. If he would have known any submissions at all except for that weak excuse for a key lock he was trying he could have beaten Koscheck.
Anybody else watching this show besides me?

Leben was a nut, I wasn't shocked to see him lose.

Sometimes being a nut can be a good thing...sometimes it isn't. Leben let his emotions get the better of him at times and he didn't know how to channel his anger.

I much prefer actual UFC matches to these amateurs. I'm not gonna see any great fights on this show.

What channel is this show on?
And Shamrock is the greatest UFC fighter of all time. Mark "The Hammer" Coleman is my 2nd favorite.

Kimo is ok. Shamrock kick the crapped out of him. Well, he went in thinking he would finish him off with a choke and, of course, he did. Best was when Royce Gracie pulled his hair from the guard in one of the first UFC's.

I just saw one last night...or maybe I just thought it was great because the guy who lost was piece of cow dung. Now he's off the show...

Yeah you're right...Spike TV...I don't know why I said TNT. I guess I was thinking of TNN which is what Spike used to be called.

He's by far the best of all time. I remember watching Shamrock years ago and them saying how he's not quite as good as Royce was.

god those are terrible choices.
I like Vitor Belfort, and Mirko Cro Cop, but he's not UFC, he's pride.

Ya duh these are UFC greats, though he left off the greatest in Gracie and probaly the most dominant champion in Matt Hughes. Off this list, Shamrock, I love Ken Shamrock the guy is insane.
The third season of The Ultimate Fighter is going on now. Though I don't like how UFC is pushing away almost everyone other than the guys they bring up through their reality show. There are a bunch of more skilled and better well rounded fighters they could have on but they choose their reality show guys over them, another reason Pride has and will probaly continue to have the most talented fighters in the world.
Edit- I just saw Don Frye, anyone see his fight with Yoshihiro Takayama, it was on a Pride card in 02, they show it on FSN sometimes. It is 6 minutes of Frye & Takayama playing no defense and punching each other in the face over and over, what an insane fight that was.
