He'll make a good backup somewhere.

I could see Chicago or Buffalo pursing him. This further guarantee's Bradford to the Rams.

I know he was getting paid too much, but wouldn't it be nice to have Bulger in as security? I don't know the Rams situation at QB, is there someone who they expect to start until Bradford is ready, or do they plan on throwing him into the fire right away, if he is the pick of course?

Since Bradford was already locked up, it was kinder to do this now and give him a better shot at finding another team to be horrible on. I could see the Raiders jumping on him.

With a $10.25 million average salary, Bulger's new contract places him in elite company, just behind Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Michael Vick, Tom Brady and Brett Favre as quarterbacks who make $10 million or more on average per year.

and remember, they can cut him now and absorb the hit without it affecting a salary cap, since there isn't one around. They keep Bulger for a season and cut him, it's against the cap.

He should go to a team with a successful veteran qb and enjoy his last pay check as a back up or a situation like chicago to help cutler with his progress.

I think I'd rather have Bulger than Batch at this point. I like Bulger. I'd love to bring the hometown boy back home.

Negative my friend...stick with Batch. Bulger completely shuts down after the first hit of a game. That's been his biggest problem throughout his career: no toughness whatsoever.

Batch was in for three plays. First play, hand off. Second play, pass. Third play, throws it and gets injured. Not once was he hit. Tore ligaments in his wrist. I love Batch, but it's time to hang them up.

Carolina could use a vet at the right price. There's plenty of places for him to land, I don't think he'll be on the street for too long.

if he has a good o-line, he's pretty decent.
still an accurate passer, just cant take a beating.
my guess is Arizona.

It's about time. We will be better with Bradford or whoever we have next year.

I was thinking Minnesota. They probably want to safeguard the QB position as much as possible with a superbowl caliber team being quarterbacked by a grandpa.

there were only 5 teams who allowed less sacks than us
Ind, Ten, NO, NE, Hou
but I think it's far more likely that we would sign Brian St. Pierre once he is healthy, has been in the system for 4 years now

Eh, I'm willing to bet Kurt Warner's ability to pick-up on blitzes and his quick release played a major role in that. We'll see how good that line truly is this year when Leinart is back there instead.

Warner also had no ability to scrabble so it's a little give and take
