Yes. He rarely signs autographs for kids and seems like a huge jerk to them. I am only going by what people have said. When he was at the Shaq Vs event, he was nice with the fans playing catch with the kids. I guess it just matters what day you catch him.

Or cameras around maybe?
Ken Griffey Jr got a bad wrap for not signing but usually they stem from asking him while was out with his kids or at dinner with his wife. I think it is situational for most.

The cameras weren't on when he was playing catch with the kids. Personally, I think since he got that contract, he thinks he walks on water and can get away with anything. That's just my personal opinion.
People could be saying all this about him because he's down and just had these cases. I don't know.
He's clearly down on the list of fan friendly athletes on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

i hope he starts riding his motorcycle again.
an article on espn said they should give him a one game suspension, but i'm feeling 4. it has to be multiple games. 2-3 is acceptable, but 4 feels right. bruises and lacerations, multiple rape/assault accusations, lying(denied sex but she's cut and bleeding), brought shame to his team and the league, contributing to delinquency of a minor or whatever the alcohol to minor is, and the need to avoid the appearance of favoritism from goodell.

My cousins own a few popular restaurants and bars in the Pittsburgh area and they won't even let him come in anymore. Multiple times he's refused to pay cover, harassed waitresses, and literally points at girls and requests the manager to bring them over to where him and his crew are.
My cousin requested a few autographs from Ben for his higher up friends and he said Ben just scribbled a line. He was too embarrassed to even pass them along.
A lot of people hate the ******.

Oh I believe it. I've heard similar stories. I have also heard stories where he was a nice guy and actually paid for someone's meal and stayed and signed autographs for over an hour.

Did anyone see what Bradshaw said about Ben yesterday? Jesus, he ripped him a new asshole. I cannot disagree with what he said, though.

Terry's lucky he wasn't under the kind of scrutiny Ben is. I'm not defending Ben, I'm just saying I bet Terry was up to similar things.

Here's the interview Hines is talking about. Some pretty juicy stuff.

I love Terry Bradshaw. Old Oilers fans would disown me for saying that, but I think the guy's great, lol.

more allegations are coming out now. i wonder if this leads to a domino effect of stories about Ben coming out discussing how he's a d-bag.
if there is any truth to this latest story, thats 3 incidents. i don't see how he doesn't get hammered hard by Goodell with all this coming to light.

I'm still waiting on the "sex addict" BS to come from him or something. Seems it's all the rage nowadays.

wow as if i couldn't hate roethlisberger any worse right now, i get to picture him traveling around every few months and doing the same georgia/las vegas situation with different girls. i wonder how many locked bathroom doors his bodyguard has stood outside of.

Unless an actual suit was filed, that statement doesn't mean anything more than if you or I said it. That attorney knows he can get away with the free publicity right now because there's no way Roethlisberger will file a defamation lawsuit and open up another potential can of worms.

How many games is an acceptable suspension for the guy? 2? 3? 4?
At this point, with all this nonsense coming out, I think you gotta go 4 games. His bad pub has been in the 4 game suspension territory in my eyes.
If the Steelers were willing to trade Holmes for a bag of peanuts for the stuff he did, theres no way they can justify a mild punishment to Ben for all the stuff he's put the organization through.

As long as the story is out in the open already, why not? Might as well attack this guy to prevent others from doing the same if this guy is lying.
Regardless of whether its true or not, the fact that more bad pub is coming out is only going to make the situation worse for Ben and the NFL, so it should be factored into his suspension, if Goodell shows any consistency in his ways.

i agree completely with 4 games. 4 games for smoking weed vs 1 for multi rape/assault? as much as some people try to downplay it and ignore it, anything less than multiple games would be seen as racist. 1 game means, ''we have to do some token punishment. 2-3 means ''we're too chicken to do anything longer'', whereas 4 is 1/4th the season. it also fits in with established standards. pacman and vick had bans of a year or longer, tank johnson was originally suspended for 8 games, i can see 4 games for 'no charges' roethlisberger.

i love that attorney's timing. after the announcement of no charges, but before his meeting with goodell. i fully agree that roethlisberger would have zero interest in anybody spending another second thinking about him and rape in the same sentence. definitely won't be any type of lawsuit filed.

If I were a women, I don't blame them for going after Ben since he is a hot topic. That said, it could be BS. I don't know anymore.

I don't care if he's a douchebag, but I do care if he's a rapist. If he somehow gets another one, I want him out. I am starting not to like him right now. That apology didn't seem sincere. It was wrote by his attorny and he read it on a piece of paper. If he was really sorry, he'd say it off the top of his head.
