He played great in Houston, a very good blocker. It will be shame if Houston looses him.

Not Vonta Leach! We have got to get him back. He was my 4th favorite Texan! Leach is an absolute beast when it came to blocking. Our running game improved drastically once he started at FB. He plays with a nasty demeanor and blows open holes.

Updating a breaking situation, the Texans have in fact not matched the Giants' four-year offer sheet for FB Vonta Leach.

The Texans' official website has revised an initial press release that said the $8 million proposal was matched. Houston has until Monday to decide.

I really like this move. Hopefully with Leach leading Green we'll be a great rushing team. Leach was a great player last yr. In addition to great blocks he showed soft hands and the ability to pick up extra yards when need be. Totally adds another dimension to our offense. I like the fact that he used to be a LB so it's like... you know he's not afraid of layin' the wood.
