Did the Seahawks Have the Best Draft, or Am I just Regurgitating a Played Out Joke
The former is the correct answer. #1 Tackle, #2 Safety, #3 WR, and Leon Washington and more and more value.
plus.... Jameson Konzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Great draft, not a Lendale White fan but we'll see if he can come in to camp in shaped and be somewhere where he was at SC.
Add some nice free agents in Reggie Carter (UCLA), Jeff Byers (USC), and DeMarcus Granger (Okla.) and i couldnt be happier.

You still have Whitehurst and no pass rush.

<+BOE> Scott, with Burfict's character concerns (whether legit or not) you think Pioli would draft him. :D
<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

Let's wait until they play a few years of football until we crown them as the best group of players.

Nobody is saying they're all of a sudden contenders but i think they've laid a pretty good foundation there going forward. I'm not closing the books on this whole new regime till Jake Locker is behind center.

THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.
Seriously though, looking at the day after its done, it seems like the Seahawks are strong contenders for best 2010 draft. 4-5 day one starters plus two running backs via trade who should contribute substantially and immediately.
The only thing that sticks out to me in a negative light is wondering why they didn't trade up to the bottom of the third and draft Everson Griffin instead of conducting an interview with the NFL Network talking about how hard it was to watch USC guys fall?

They really didnt do the wheeling and dealing i thought they would, i was thinking they would try to trade up in the second and take Gerhart and then they could have got a pretty good choice of wideouts in the 4th, they must of really liked Golden Tate. The other move would have been to try to acquire some picks for 2011 but nothing there, cant complain overrall.

Alot will depend on how well the steal rod holds Leon Washington's leg together.
They absolutely nailed the 1st, however. Kills me that they got Thomas.

The entire NFC West put up a clinic in this draft. Filled needs and and got tremendous value at almost every pick. That division will not be in the cellar for long.

Ditto, very strong draft by the enitre NFC West. It'll be interesting to see just who will be starting or have significant roles come Sept. 12 amongst the rookies drafted between the Niners and the 'Hawks. Okung vs A. Davis. Thomas vs Mays. Tate vs Ginn/K. Williams. Washington/White vs Dixion/Blount.
But my Niners did excellent as well. Really liked the Narvarro Bowman and Kyle Williams picks. Dixon was a no-brainer in the 6th round. And the UDFAs we brought like in LaGarette Blount, Jarrett Brown, LeRoy Vann, and Patrick Stoudomire just put the icing on the cake for me. See ya September 12th.....

Don't sleep on your guy. I personally would have taken Mays at #14.
