Default Robert Hoory, A HOF?

I think he is. HE is fricking amazianglingly clutch. I think he's the only guy with his stats that should be voted into the HOF

I think it's debatable, but I don't think you can put a guy in the Hall of Fame just because he's hit some big shots in his career.

but in all the Finals that I personally saw him play (4 of them) he has hit a shot that prolonged his team chances or took his team to the finals. ANd even before teh finals he's always clutch as hell in playoff games

I would love to be Horry, every time you have a great game people notice, and every time you do poorly, people don't

Exactly. When people look back at his career 5 years after retirement, all he will be is a guy who showed up in the playoffs. Look at his stats. Do those look like Hall of Fame stats? No way.

Lynn Swann was a Pro-Bowler three times in his career, which is determined before the playoffs. Robert Horry has never been an All-Star.

you cant compare lynn swann and robert horry; lynn swann is one of the 5 best receivers ever, robert horry's never been one of the top 5 players on his team

I think he should be HOF. He's only a roleplayer yes, but he seems to always be the missing piece that brings a team their championship. Stats are overrated.

I looked a bunch of his accomplishments and most of them were in the playoffs. Take a look at this and tell me he's not a HOF

#
# Ranks in the top 10 active playoff leaders in points (sixth with 1,784), rebounds (third with 1,211), assists (fourth with 527), blocks (sixth with 187) and minutes (second with 6,084)
# Holds the NBA playoff record for the most 3PT-FG made without a miss connecting on 7-of-7 from downtown at Utah on 5/6/97
# Is the Finals all-time leader in three-pointers made (53) and attempted (135 )
# Holds the record for the most minutes played in a four-game Finals series (187 in 1995)
# Set a Finals record for the highest 3PT-FG percentage in a seven-game series with a .484 (15-31) mark in 2005
# Shares - with Penny Hardaway - the Finals record for the most threes made in a four-game Finals series (11 in 1995)
# Set the NBA Finals record for the most steals in a single game recording 7 at Orlando on 6/9/95

We know he's great in the playoffs, but I think the argument of those who say he's not a HOF is that he didn't do any of that in the reg. season.

but he came through in the biggest way a player could in the biggest situation a team could be in and he did no matter where he was at.

He's won a few big games that won his team the championship. Someone like him just doesn't go to every team and make them champions for nothing. If not for his on court performance during regular season then he must have one hell of a character.

Wow... Hall of Famers are players who have great careers. Not a few great seasons, not a few great games, and certainly not a few great shots. No way does Horry deserve to even be mentioned as a possible Hall of Famer.

Yeah this is pretty much how I feel it should be too. Sure it is nice to have a few great games but his career isn't HOF worthy.
