When? After the FG?
Also, where is Dwyer? What about his "extensive playing time?"

Hmm, let's see if he appears right now. Hopefully it's nothing, he's looked great so far.

My suprise to make the roster this year is Renauld Williams, think Donovan Woods from a few years ago. Solid special teams player, had a good camp so far too.

Antonio Brown is FAST. I know he already made the team before this game, but damn. Talk about icing on the cake. Now if he proves he can return well, we could have ourselves a steal.

I think he'll make it too man, he's playing abit like a headless chicken atm, but the kid has mad special teams skills. I hope Butler makes i too, he has the best hands of any of our CB's.

Antonio Brown with another great play. Kid could be very special. He has the swagger for it.

Dwyer is hurt. ****. This kid cannot catch a break. Hopefully he's a lot better throughout the next couple of games or he won't make the team.

Man, Sylvester looked good. He is always were the ball is. Pouncey looked real good too. Overall a good, injury-free night, minus the Dwyer knick.

I managed to fall asleep before the game ( It's starts at 1:30 Am here man :( ) because I've been driving all day (trying to get my drivers license :P Its a bit different in Hungary) :(
But I heard our O-line was a mess, we should get some FAs or draft a complete Oline, Kemo and Pouncey can stay :)

Pretty interesting chart showing all the guys who played yesterday and where they played. The horizontal numbers at the top are the snaps.
Note: not mine, asked to give credit to SteelersDepot.
Image is kind of big.

If oline continues to play this bad we should start Dixon. At least he has a chance to avoid the rush.
Antonio Brown played well like I thought he would.
Its early but i could see Dwyer being cut
Keenan Lewis was really impressive

I think Dwyer has a spot on the roster. That's just my opinion. I think given more PT and reps, he'd be a lot better. IMO, the final spot comes down to Redman and Summers.

I don't know about you guys, but I saw no burst with Dwyer. He waited for the hole to open but never really turned the jets on. I know he's no Chris Johnson, but come on, there's got to be some kind of burst. He kind of just waddled through the holes.
I want to see his runs again, gonna look for replays.

From what I saw, and i'm not as great a film study as you guys, it didn't seem like Dwyer got enough chances...and that when he did, at least 2 defenders were behind the line of scrimmage?
I too wanted him to come out blazin tonight, so hopefully this was just rookie jitters..right?

You guys can go from Dwyer hype to let's cut him in 6 months :P He needs time to develeop, thats why he was a 6th rounder.

Oh, I'm still really excited about him, I just think his nagging injuries have really hindered his development. Hence the little burst I think I saw, and as SCSteeler said, the limited chances he got.
Thing is though, if he keeps getting injured and does little to nothing in training camp, the team could cut him. Not that we want them to, but they've got a rookie RB who's shown nothing, so practice squad would be his likely destination. Unfortunately, a team could pick him up prior to sigining him to PS, like what happened with Ra'Shon Harris.
Hopefully his shoulder injury is nothing and the team uses him more next game.

If it goes down that way Redman over summers all day unless they want to keep one player that closer to a true full back

We hardly use a FB and when we do, David Johnson is a very good lead blocker.

Kentwan Balmer is on the block in San Fran. I read he could be had for a 6th or 7th round pick. Now I know he has work ethic issues, but for a sixth or seventh rounder, I'd take a chance on him to see if the lights turn on for him. It'd be a huge steal for us if it happens. That said, I doubt we take a look at him.
