Maybe later on, but for right now I think it's McClendon.

And Sylvester is higher, Bailey is no longer on the team.

He was with Tennessee, don't know if he's still there.

I hope we get Thad back, but im not overly worried about it.

Also, just got bak from vacation and missed the Miami game, looks like i didnt miss much good, anything noteworthy, other that the Smith injury? :(

Any predictions, thoughts on tonights game? Its a strange one imo, the Saints should be so much better than they are playing right now, i hope the switch doesnt turn on tonight.

From Miami game:

- Wallace is still a great burner.
- Worilds got past Vernon Carey with pure speed on at least 3 occasions, but only got to the QB once. Henne was able to release the ball just in time. When he got to Henne, it was a sack/fumble that basically sealed the game.
- Sanders had a fumble on his first kick return, but then was great for the rest of the game. In fact, he was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. The last time a Steelers player won it was Randle El in 2003, I believe.

As for today, yeah, I'm nervous. I know NO hasn't played great this season, but if they turn on the jets for today, we're really going to struggle against them. Every year after a team wins the SB, they have a couple of games where they dominate. Hope this isn't one for them.

Meh, they can't run. I think Lebeau has a plan up his sleeve and he will bring the heat all night.

No Keisel today.

Here are the inactives:

Steelers inactives: RB Dwyer, CB Butler, T Hills, G Foster, WR Brown, DE Smith, DE Keisel. Batch is the No. 3 QB.

I still don't think they'll be able to run on us. If we play defense like how Cleveland played against them, this should be cake.

Oh, I agree with you. No Bush and no Pierre Thomas definitely hurts them.

Out for the Saints are CB Jabari Greer and Tracy Porter, the starters.

That ought to open up some things for Ben and co.

this is the most frustrating game ive ever watched

bruce arians needs to be fired at halftime... 1st and goal on the 1inch line and we dont wedge with our 6'5" 240lb qb behind our stud ceneter

you kidding me?

3rd and 7 and they stack the box with everytime with 7 or 8 and we run 15 yard patterns, makes sense

they call it a chess match but bruce arians is clearly outmatched, the only reason we ever have success is when ben buys time and does something

hes lookedl ike **** this game also though so thats why we have put up a whopping 3 points.

It's frustrating to see many of the things that have plagued this team for the last several seasons remain unfixed. This loss hurts but it is not the end of the season. Next week is more important and hopefully this team refocuses.

New Orleans disaster;

As was bound to happen, our offensive schemes(I'm being generous here) finally lost us a game. Let's see; they're packing the box inside every first down soooo- we run up the middle almost every time. 2nd and long, they're looking like they're blitzing everybody, soooo- we send our wideouts a hundred miles upfield with no quick dumpoff. 3rd down, see 2nd down. We can really fool them by not ever throwing downfield to Wallace, especially when they put 10, countem 10 men in the box.

Our oc is of course and idiot but give Tomlin much credit for this debacle too. Challenging a fumble that everybody that could watch replay saw wasn't even close? Then the td that was taken away. The ball either cracked the goal line or was an inch short. You never see this reversed when it is this close. The ref said, "call on the field is confirmed, receiver is down at the one inch line". this of course is not what the call was. this is very important, if the call on the field was that we were stopped on the one inch line, I could see it not being overturned on replay. However, the call on the field was that it was a td, so to overturn it was a different story altogether. Then the play calling on the next three plays. As Mikehop noted, Ben takes the hike and extends the ball=td. OK, our line gets blown up and we lose two yards; next, Mendenhall clearly scores but doesn't get the call-the refs love the one inch line in this game. Does Tomlin call a review? Nope he said it was tough to get calls on the road!!! He sometimes sounds as idiotic as Ariens.

Defense was solid first half but how long can you stop Drew Brees? He clearly looked a lot better than Ben, but had the advantage of an oc that knew how to beat the blitz; ie hotreads. Our lbs were terrific, our d-line was great, considering we had two backups in, and our d-backs were awful when we needed them. Ike did get a pick, but had his head up his butt several times. Troy was great but couldn't cover everybody. And does a three man rush ever work? How many times on key plays are we going to get beat with no pass rush and eight pass defenders not marking anyone?

Some freaky things too. Heath fumbling to basically kill our momentum. Mewelde Moore breaking off a big run. Hines getting called for pass interference for slightly touching a defender while the other db helmet-to-helmets him. Should have had the ball on the one right there.

And again, we only have two running plays that work; double 22 which Mendy ran for a td and the other one where we get stuffed and the back has to find a new hole.

I cannot see this team going anywhere with the current Coaching philosophy and I am not just blaming ariens, Tomlin is still the puppet master.

As much as we blame Arians, Tomlin takes fault as well. As HC you gotta tell your OC, WTF are you doing?
