The RL Academy peacoat is pretty decent and not that expensive. This is a XXL, but you can get the idea: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-XXL-Mens...p2054897.l4276

where do I find that tan coat with the belt.

Also need new brown or black shoes, with laces, 200-150 range. Something that can go with black suits, and jeans. Well not jeans I guess only those suede boots go with jeans.

Ohh and if they have that front shiney/wet tip, I like that.

Allen Edmonds....talk to BBD. He can pay it forward. Although you may have to go with seconds at that price.

Black suits are horrific and one of the least versatile things someone can own. There are very few shoes that will work with both jeans and a suit, unless the suit is worn casually. Chukkas (suede or not suede) on a dressy last are the best fit, probably. Leather goes perfectly fine with jeans...that is an absurd comment.

Ohh and if they have that front shiney/wet tip, I like that.

You get that yourself, dude. It's called a spit shine.
Oh God....so much wrong here. I'm going to have a meltdown.

I do want a charcoal suit, but don't have the money to drop on a tailerd one, YET. I don't think blue is my thang, know what i'm sayin

hahahahaha. I know you have to shine it to get that polish finish, i'm talking about I've seen some shoes that are brown, or tan, and the tips are a darker brown that turns black. Now taht can't be possible by just spit?

also what about my coat ?

Navy Blue is literally everyone's thing. The only way to start a proper suit collection is with a charcoal and a navy, in some order. Black comes, like, 8th. or something

hahahahaha. I know you have to shine it to get that polish finish, i'm talking about I've seen some shoes that are brown, or tan, and the tips are a darker brown that turns black. Now taht can't be possible by just spit?

This is called burnishing....you can (kind of) purchase shoes this way, but it is still very much a self exercise. The burnishing is achieved through using a darker polish on the toes and over time, voila

also what about my coat ?
I don't know. I own 2 winter coats, one navy and one grey. If you don't have standard grey and navy overcoats, tan is likely a luxury. If you want a navy trench, while I do not own it, I believe this will be quite good (http://www.kentwang.com/outerwear/trenchcoat-navy.html)

Luckily I don't need to wear suits. Button ups and khakis? Yeah. Pretty much all the time. I could get away with some jean combos every now and then but not really.

Once you start wearing button ups every day you realize the devil is in the details. I prefer solid color shirts so little details like your watch, your cufflinks, the fit and thickness of the shirt, the collar, your belt, shoes etc really make a difference.

Your khaki game better be on point too. Gotta have that crease.

I wear jeans and purcells to work every day. I've been slacking on my shirt selections, though. I had to drive a lot for work at one point and got in a habit of wearing those comfortable driving clothes (henleys & hoodies) all the time. I am ashamed.

I really, really, really hate that it doesn't let you browse their site at all unless you sign up. Let me just blindly give away $60!

It seems alright, but definitely not for me. I'm way too specific in what I want.

I like it honestly. I hate ironing, but the professional look can be very stylish if you pull it off right.

And women love that ****.

Yeah so am I to be honest but I have loved it. I do know what you mean though and I would just encourage you to check out their Facebook and their Instagram and you can get a really good feel of what they have.

I mean, what do we mean by khakis? Like, cotton trousers or awful dockers?

People still wear dockers? I usually go for the slim fit calvin kleins or perry ellis. The dry clean only types.

Yeah I guess they're not really khakis. They're dress pants/slacks.

I do wear jeans occasionally. It depends on the day. If I have a lot of meetings or if I'm meeting with vendors I'm dressed up. If I know it's a day where I'm just gonna be working at my desk all day then i can get away with jeans.

Especially during the summer when I can wear jeans and a polo on those days. It makes a difference. People treat you differently at work when you're dressed up.

Hey Rob (or anyone else familiar with watches) do you know of a good spot to buy used watches? I know you told me to get a Stowa, but after some research I've really grown fond of vintage Omega Seamasters (1960s models). There are obviously a lot on ebay, but I was wondering if there are other places I should be looking.

I went the eBay route. You have to be very careful, there are a lot of knock offs. Make sure you google how to spot a fake, and do your due diligence when buying one.

I bought a used Cartier for 500 bucks, got it cleaned and put a new leather strap on it and was good to go. But it took about 3 months of searching before I found the right one that would look good after cleaning it up.

Finding the right straps aren't easy either.
