It was more a dig that Locker gets a pass for supporting cast issues.....
I hate that there's no middle ground with Mallett. If your not bashing him with every post, your clearly some sort of Al Davis-esque lover of the big arm and blind to his flaws.

Jake Locker would kill to have Greg Childs and DJ Williams.

Bottom line is Mallett gave both sides plenty of ammo in this annoying argument.
The pro-Mallett people will cite 300 yards in the first half and gave his team the led against Alabama and was killed by drops.
The anti-Mallett people will kill him for the 3 INTs and say the completions he did make were wide open.
Nothing changes going into next week.

I think with Mallett what you see is what you get, a talented guy that's really rough along the edges.

That's what is annoying about this board. If you point out a flaw in Mallett you're automatically a Locker nut hugger, and vice versa. You can't make a point without being accused of taking sides, it reminds me of politics.

Personally, I'm waiting to find out about these rumors with Mallett's character.
Beyond that, I don't love him or hate him. He's a big kid with a ridiculous arm and he's inconsistent.

Being a Vikings fan I like all 3 as well, the more good QBs there are the better chance there is that one will fall to us.

Not me. I think both are terrible. Taking either would be a huge gamble for your franchise. Problem is a lot of teams have too much confidence in their QB coaches and Offensive Coordinator to fix a guy's flaws.
You pick the qb who produced in college and has the tools. simple as that.

I guess this happens anytime there's more than one canditate for the top QB.
Thank your divine diety of choice for Andrew Luck. God I hope he comes out.....

Just give the Heisman to Luck & cease all argumentation.
Somebody is still going to fall in love with Mallett & The Big Arm on draft day, the media will call him the Next Joe Flacco, etc. Probably shuffle off to Buffalo.
Bama will stay #1 but lost a lotta style points today. The Tide OC s/b taken out & shot.....
