i have saffold in my first post....i really like what ive seen from him, honestly i forgot about williams and okungs been hurt. i love that he comes in a out played jason smith (imo one of the more baffling picks in the past few years, i didnt see the eliteness in him that some did at all)
im sticking with saffold and veldheer over williams though

Saffold has been excellent this year. He's arguably been the top offensive rookie in the league, although he'd never win the award.

I realize youre being sarcastic so you would maybe agree with this: If only Denver would play him as a QB. Now he's a designated direct snap ballcarrier in the red zone only for the Broncos.
Let him air it out! With their w-L rcd, what do they have to lose?

I still get on a knee and say thanks every day that the Rams took Smith instead of Eugene Monroe.

An all Maurkice Pouncey middle of the line would be absolutely ridiculous. I say he gets it.

Did you catch Brian Baldinger gushing over him today on NFLN playbook? "My new favorite player is Billy Yates"

Brandon Deadrick had been pretty solid as a rookie seventh round DE for us, he could possibly develop into a full time starter.

It would be fair to say that at this very point in time it should be Williams vs Pouncey for offensive rookie of the year?
I haven't noticed anyone else playing close to as well as those two, I'd give the edge to Pouncey because he has been in beastmode since day one and in reality he wont win it as a lineman :(

Actually no I"m being very serious about him as a true NFL QB. I know every say he won't make but give him a chance and just watch the light shine away.Yes they might as well let him start one or two games id Mc D wants his job saved .I mean he has to be better then how Orton is playing , he can scramble if he needs , he does have good zip on the ball he just needs a lot of time to pin point it to the WR . And just look at his physical size compared to Orton . I know they want to sit him for a year. But by now you would think he has the offense down, now let him learn it by on the field against a real defense instead of the practice squad .Hell at least let him play in the 4th when your down.I'm very disappointing they haven't gave him more playing time this year just a few snaps here and there .I mean you pay the kid so much money.Give the fans a little sizzle before the season ends for crying out loud .
