Wouldn't they be inflated since he only played 11 games?

It's a small sample size, but I think we'll find out if he would have kept it up, or if he would have regressed when he gets to the NBA.

Kemba Walker and Irving's TS% through the first 8 games. Irving was pretty consistent.

And..
1. Irving
2. D-Will
3. Biyombo
4. Knight
5. Jonas

Tyler Honeycutt will be the steal of the draft, anything past pick 20 and he has a shot to be the next Josh Howard. Much like Wesbrook and Jrue he's going to be a lot better in the league than he was in college. He can defend, rebound, shoot, and handle. He's going to land on the Celtics, Mavs, Bulls, or Spurs in the late first and be an impact player. I'm hoping OKC takes him to backup Durant. I called it 2 weeks back but Marshon Brooks #9 to Charlotte is a real possibility now, personally I'm back and forth on that pick. I have it ranked 1) Burks 2) Thompson 3) Brooks, but it's interchangeable depending on system.

I've seen a lot of mocks with Honeycutt going to the Wolves. As if we didn't already have enough SFs.

being a swingman type he can go in there at SF or SG.....but really you have to look at it this way: in the NBA draft you don't draft for need like you do in the first round of the NFL draft after a certain point, you just try to get the best guy left b/c there really aren't that many good players in any given year past the lottery.

The more I think about it the more I wish the Wolves would just either trade the number 2 pick or take Kanter. I like Williams a lot but he's blocked at the 4 by Love and he's most likely not going to have the footspeed to guard 3's. Even if we do put him at the 3 we would end up trading Beasley for 50 cents on the dollar because teams know that we need to move him. Rubio/Beasley/Love/Kanter is a decent start depending on how Rubio pans out.

Not saying I'll be upset if we take Williams, but yet again in the Kahn era he just wouldn't really fit.

Also it sounds like the Suns are seriously considering Iman Shumpert at #13. Talk about coming out of nowhere.

I prefer Charles Jenkins to Shumpert, but Shumpert has the NBA upside.

Why not just get Biyombo then? If they're going to draft a player like Kanter, then why trade away Jefferson a year before? Neither of them can even match Biyombo's defense.

Ya been a ton of this going around, hopefully we mean with San Antonio's pick(which we are reportedly buying) but the rumor is that we would take Shumpert over Fredette at 13 so idk

Quote:
Houston continues to offer the 14th and 23rd picks in the draft to move into the top 10, and could have a willing partner with the Detroit Pistons at No. 8. The Pistons have told teams they won’t trade down until they see who drops to them on draft night, sources said.

In what could be an interesting window into the Pistons’ preferences, San Diego State forward Kawhi Leonard worked out for Detroit on Monday, and shortly thereafter cancelled his Wednesday workout with the Milwaukee Bucks who have the 10th pick. Several executives believe Leonard may have left Auburn Hills with a guarantee

San Antonio shopping Parker for a lottery pick. Wow.

Sacramento would make a lot of sense. Parker/Reke/Thornton/Cousins is a pretty solid nucleus.

We traded Jefferson because he's the worst post defender in the league save Boozer maybe and he didn't fit with Love. And I wouldn't mind Biyombo (obviously not at 2) but he has an insane amount of bust potential. Kanter obviously isn't a sure thing either but Biyombo could just as easily be Saer Sene as he could be Serge Ibaka.

Kanter obviously isn't a sure thing either but Biyombo could just as easily be Saer Sene as he could be Serge Ibaka.
I dunno, kid gives me a good vibe, he seems to be a really tough, smart and strong kid. So while he's pretty much offensively useless I do think he'll be a good NBA defender with the potential to be great, who'll be a strong rebounder. He's attentive on D, always talking, switches well for a kid and seems like an attentive learner. I'm thinking Brendan Haywood-esque impact or better with this kid. Which is why I'd like to see the knicks trade Fields for him and take the best guard available at 17 plus another guard with a late first/second round pick.

Sene wasn't as good on defense. Biyombo will probably never be any good on offense, but I don't see any way his defense wouldn't translate. Plus, he has the right attitude.

And just because one tall African basketball player didn't pan out, doesn't mean you should compare him to every single one after him. No two players think and play exactly alike.

I don't care if he's African that wasn't the point. Johan Petro. There, he's French. The point is he's not a sure thing, nobody has seen enough of him for him to be a sure thing unless you have the ACB League season package. He's still somewhat of a mystery even to scouts and really only came onto the scene within the last year. I don't even know why I'm arguing because I like him, but he's sure as hell not bust proof.

I don't think that makes him any worse a prospect or player. How often do you draft a guy that you can even say that about anyway? Usually if you can firmly say that he more then likely ends up an average starter at best.
