How good is Josh Booty? Anyone familiar with him? He's John David Booty's brother. I dont know if that helps him but at least there's a connection there.

I think this was waste of cap space we could of signed somebody just a little better.

lol. this guys jus like Chris Weinke and Drew Henson in a way. he was a promising prospect comin out of high school but he decided to try baseball after the marlins drafted him 5th overall.

i doubt if josh booty is getting much more than league minimum pay. booty brings an interesting story. h.s player of the yr in football. also got drafted #5 as shortstop. signed with LSU and the Marlins. took the biggest signing bonus ever by an amatuer(at the time) to play baseball. couldnt cut it, went back and played football for LSU. played 2 yrs and left after his soph yr b/c he was getting pretty old then. drafted 6th round by the seahawks and then later traded to cleveland. 3 yrs as 3rd string and got cut in 03'. thats my summary from wikipeida, but i followed his career for pretty much the entire duration since h.s b/c he was a louisiana kid.
