It's funny because Ronnie Lott would have been the DROY if it wasn't for Taylor. The 1981 draft had a lot of good players come out of it.

I think Ndamukong could have replicated that had his team been better. His numbers weren't just insane for a rookie, they were insane, period.

To me the best rookie season for an O player ever was Eric Dickerson 1,808 rushing yards and 18 rushing TD's just insane.

Yes they were. His numbers were better than Fat Al's best year as a Titan, and he was a DPOY candidate for 2 solid years.
That had to have been the most dominant rookie seasona DT ever had (statistically).
Just imagine if he gets up to 320 like he said? The guy was the best defensive prospect I've seen since I've been following the draft.

I'm usually pretty reserved when talking about young players, but I have a feeling we're seeing something VERY special with Suh. I haven't felt that strongly about someone with so little experience since Adrian Peterson.

Stop mentioning Packers in the title, you guys are just jealous that your team isn't in the Super Bowl.

The Packers in the titles are far and away the best thing about this forum at the moment.

I loved Bradford and Suh entering the draft. I would have traded the Rams 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th and 7th rounders for Suh. Would Detroit accepted ?

Detroit wouldn't have accepted the Rams entire draft even if they had another late first round pick to add to that.

The total chart value of the rest of the Rams pick was slightly over 1,000. The value of the 2nd Overall pick (even when it doesn't have a monster like Suh attatched to it) is 2,600.
So yeah. They really wouldn't have.

Only to the extent of the base doubts of draft prospects as a whole. After all, there are no sure things in the draft.

He wasn't thought of the same way his Junior year despite being basically the same player. Gerald McCoy was seen as a better prospect right up until the post season process. Suh was seen by some as a guy who didn't have a great quick step and wouldn't be able to push people around as much as he did in college at the NFL level.
I really don't want gloat or anything and there's no purpose for it since I've been wrong about as much stuff here as anyone, but Suh was one guy I was higher on than most people were a few years ago. I voted for him as the number one prospect on the community big board at the start of last year and was one of 3 people to do so.
