The World Baseball Classic Thread
The inaugural world baseball classic is now upon us and I created this thread to see if anyone cares. If you dont it works. The most interesting thing about this "classic" s that South Africa mite not score a run

No Pedro = No pitching = No win for the Dominican.
USA's bullpen will hold the Vlad-less Dominican lineup in check to win the championship.
USA! USA!

Its not only Pedro....a couple of other guys pulled out of the classice as well.
Quick question.....how can u leave my sleeper pick Venezuela off the poll. Look at the roster. With the Dominican's injuries they could take that part of the bracket.

Dominican will do the best out of the 4 you listed, but I think Venezuala will win.

How dare you not put the Netherlands in that poll. Andruw Jones will hit a homer run every at bat and win the WBC for that team.

Question. Will the Mexicans be blindfolded and spun around for 15 full seconds before each at bat?
If not, my peso's are on them.

None of those teams u have in the poll would win. Canada will win cause they have a guy on their team called Stubby Clapp as his real name. But I voted DR

PR is not bad either, I'm surprised no one mentioned them.
