I would like to see us package Osi and #32 to move up and try and sign Cordy Glenn.

Osi is probably worth a mid 2nd. By the trade value chart #32 and #48 is worth around #16. I could see the Jets, Bears, Bengals, Titans and Browns looking to add a quality DE.

If we're moving up in the draft, I want it to be for Luke Keuchly. That's it.

I say we stay home and pick whoever is there, if we can't move up for Luke.

Jerry Reese never moves up or down on draft day it seems. Has he ever been involved in a draft day trade as our GM?

in later rounds, i think he traded up or down when we drafted Barden, we also moved up in rounds 5 or 6 one year i remember.

Oh, forgot about that Barden trade. So at least we know he's not afraid to pull the trigger if the opportunity is there! But Reese just strikes me as the type of GM who doesn't like to give up multiple draft choices to make a huge leap in the first round. He trusts his own and the scouts ability to spot talent way too much.

If Philly signs Tulloch or Connor, as they've been rumored, I see Kuechly falling to about #21 or #22 and if that's the case, we need to trade up and jump ahead of Detroit and Pittsburgh at get our guy.

Well it should be noted that he did try to trade up for Revis, which further underscores his genius. He did see that Revis was a monster, but he didn't ante up, but I would venture to say two super bowls later he got came out on top.

considering our current activity in free agency, I would like to see our draft ending up something like:

32 - RT Kelechi Osmele, Iowa State

64 - DT Jared Crick, Nebraska

95 - LB Mykal Kendricks, California

127 - LB Demario Davis, Arkansas State

159 - TE James Hanna, Oklahoma

191 - CB Asa Jackson, Cal Poly

223 - G Ryan Miller, Colorado

Vinny Curry ran a 4.64 at his pro day. I feel comfortable taking him now. He's probably a reach at the end of the 1st, but I'm not sure if he'll be there at the end of the 2nd. If he's there in the 2nd, he has to be the pick.

If we reach for him in the 1st, I wouldn't hate the pick. I trust our staff when it comes to DEs. He's raw, but he's got potential and he reminds me of Osi when Osi was coming out.

Put him in our program and we can mold him into a player. And our DL wouldn't skip a beat once we eventually lose Osi and/or Kiwi.

My dream draft:

1. Stephen Hill WR
2. Vinny Curry DE
3. Sean Spence ILB/OLB
4. Robert Turbin RB

My realistic draft:

1. Kendall Wright WR
2. Sean Spence
3. Robert Turbin

I'd love Spence and Turbin in rounds 3 and 4, but realistically if we want those guys we have to get them a round earlier. And I LOVE Stephen Hill, but he won't be there in round 1, but Wright most likely will, and I think that's a great consolation prize. Wright is getting slept on, he's a hell of a WR and can stretch the field as Mario's replacement.

Curry, he won't be there in the 2nd, and while I love him, I don't see us taking him in round 1, although I wouldn't mind that pick at all, I don't see us pulling the trigger with him in the 1st.

I would be fine with Wright, but I am not sure Reese will be. If Hill falls(which he may since the 49ers and Patriots got their WRs and so did Chicago and San Diego) we need to take him. My dream draft is very similar.

I think it depends on Wright's pro day 40. If he runs another 4.67 at his pro day, then he'll tank in the draft.

I have a feeling though that he'll run a solid 40. I don't see him as a 4.67 guy when I see him play.

I'm hoping for WRs to fall in this draft. If St. Louis takes Clairborne, and if Miami can avoid a WR in the draft, we have a decent chance at Hill.

He plays much faster than his 40 time showed. I think our only threat at taking a WR round 1 is St. Louis, Miami, NYJ, and Houston and I think only 2 or 3 of them will actually take a WR with how deep the class is and such other big needs.

I don't see the Jets taking a WR. The Browns will definitely take 1, either at 5 or at 20whatever.

The 49ers, Pats, are out of the hunt. The Ravens, Texans, Dolphins, Browns, St. Louis, are all realistic options.

I'm hoping the Ravens take Konz, I'm hoping the Dolphins are forced to move up for Tannehill, I'm hoping the Rams take Clairborne.

That leaves the Texans, and Browns as threats. Give the Texans Floyd, give the Browns Blackmon, that gives us a legit chance to land Hill.

I'm actually hoping Wright blazes his 40 time so he leaps Hill on draft boards. That would give us a much better chance of landing Hill.

Yea I think Blackmon goes 4 to Cleveland, then Floyd to Houston(which will be scary) and Hill to us

The real question is, who is going to be the 3rd WR off the board?

Bc I think if we get to draft a WR, it will be the 4th guy on the board. I don't see only 2 WRs going before we draft. The way we broke it down, it's possible, but there's going to be a surprise team that creeps in there and takes a WR when we don't expect it.

So we have to hope Wright blazes his 40 time for 2 reasons:

1. It could push him ahead of Hill on most boards which would make Hill the 4th WR taken in the draft.

2. Even if Hill is still taken over Wright, hell let's take Wright then! You can't lose.

I think Ruben Randle could surprise people and go in the 1st as well. Blackmon and Floyd are the only locks to go round 1 at this point. I think if Wright runs fast he jumps ahead of Hill instantly, he was ahead of him all along until he ran slow. We are going to end up with Wright or Hill unless Kuechly, Adams or someone else big falls in my honest opinion.

Wright actually ran in the 4.4s at the combine, he just moved his hand early.

Losing Mario bothers me, not as much as losing Gibril Wilson did, but I hate seeing players go to other teams :/

Reading tweets from Greg Cosell and other things about the draft, Keuchly doesn't seem to be as heralded as we think. I can't imagine why now, although I still don't think he's that fast. If he is there, or close, we should go out and get him obviously.

If not, I do like Stephen Hill's potential. BBD I know Turbin is your boy, but Lamar Miller seems like the best RB for us IMO. His short area quickness, patience, and vision are just wow. He is a feature back, and thats something we haven't had in awhile. If we trade Osi, we should target Miller with the mid 2nd we should get.

1. Stephen Hill WR Georgia Tech
2. Lamar Miller RB Miami U
2. Dwayne Allen TE Clemson
3. Bobby Massie OT Mississippi
4. Vontaze Burfict LB Arizona St.
5. Danny Trevathan OLB Kentucky
5*. Donte Paige-Moss DE UNC
6. ?
7. ?
7*. Dan Persa QB Northwestern

I'd prefer to get a big back because I have a feeling about Scott and we'll still have Bradshaw, so we need someone who'll soften defenses up for them to break off their big gains.

Combine risers like stephen hill scare me to death, if he'll be so successful how did no one see it before the combine? I wouldn't take burfict anywhere higher than the 6th round, and i don't even know about that, he sounds like a locker room cancer. Give me BPA every year, but that almost never ends up being a WR as teams will reach and reach for them. At this point i'm really liking lamar miller, zach brown, keuchly (probably won't be there) and fleener. A dynamic TE does more for our offense right now than even justin blackmon would in the draft.
