Very curious.

We should do that with Gomez.

Not sure how valuable this is, but there are rumors of Seto to Pittsburgh. Yes please.

Tampa acquires Anders Lindback for 2 second round picks. There's more to the deal, but this is the main pieces.

I guess the Kings can cross off Tampa to Bernier list...

I think Semin and Datsyuk will work very well together.

Depends entirely on the price. If Semin is seeking a deal where he's paid like he could be if he went back to Russia, then I'd definitely pass. I also wouldn't sign him for more than 3 years.

That only happens if TT actually sits out and the team that gets him suspends him for not reporting. Gomez would report.

Doubt it, he's trying to avoid gettting dealt to Toronto or Tampa, if he actually got traded his competitiveness wouldn't need long for him to "feel the itch" again.

Love the move by the Lightning. Still have our two first round picks and our own second. Didn't have a preference between Lindback and Bernier, but I am a happy man regardless.

Give the Pens Ryan Malone back, please. We'll give you Martin for him.

Read an interesting tidbit saying that Evander Kane doesn't want to sign a new deal with the Jets.

Watch Pittsburgh get him. My favorite players love to sign with rival teams.

The only way they could get him is if they trade Staal and I'm not sure Staal will sign there. We'd also probably have to add to land him. Though a Staal-Kane swap would be very, very nice.

Rumors of this deal going around:
Pens get:
Brandon Sutter
Justin Faulk
8th overall pick
Canes get:
Jordan Staal
Paul Martin
I'd do it.

Evander is far too manly for the Leafs.

You have to be Faulking me...Sutter or later the Canes will need to get back to being contenders I suppose.
All puns aside it seems like somewhat of an overpayment. I know the Canes are really high on Faulk and I can't see a savvy man such as Jim Rutherford pulling the trigger here.
In other news, sounds like our boy Alex Radulov is headed back to the KHL. Shocker, I know.

Kovalev has said he wants back on the Habs roster. Depending on how much of a salary he'd settle for (hopefully 2M a year or less), I'm intrigued enough that I could be happy with that. Not entirely sure the new management/coach really wants to put up with his on and off play, though.

Because Staal is always rumored to be traded and Paul Martin is out of favor. So obviously the Pens can get whatever they want for them.

I am SuperMcGee excited for the draft. Four of the top 44 picks and Terry Pegula have me open to the possibility of something going down this weekend. Derek Roy could be dangled as well (said the guy calling out Pens fans on Staal/Martin), though he only has one year left with his rather soft cap hit. We certainly have a small arsenal for making moves. I don't foresee anything involving the big names out there, and we also have to be careful with the cap, but you'd have to think something happens after what we've seen over the past year.
