Have you ever worked a retail job?

So a few weeks ago I got a seasonal job at Toys R Us. I ******* hate it. Definitely the worst decision of my life. I can't wait until the damn season is over.

Yes, retail is terrible around this time of the year. I managed to get a temp job at an online greeting card company a couple of weeks ago. All we do is sit on our asses all day in front of a computer and edit people's greeting card orders with Adobe software. It's fantastic. The time goes by fast, I can get up and go anywhere I want without having to worry about being badgered by some asshole, no one really talks and interrupts my work, and I can take a break whenever I want. Plus I make more money. I just listen to sports podcasts while working.

The only sad thing is that this is a temp job and I along with a bunch of other people will most likely be let go soon. At least I can put it on my resume. I'm moving anyways soon so I'd have to leave anyway.

If you can, work the night shift as a stocker. I did that one year and it was the best low-wage job I've ever had. They lock you in the store and you just open boxes and put the crap on shelves for 8 hours every night. Of course, I did it back when you could buy ephedra at every gas station, so we were all popping pills like crazy.
