Bucs are apparently working hard to get Nicks deal figured out, or so says Mr. LaCanfora

Hearing that #Titans are not out of Mario Williams chase even as they pursue Peyton Manning, but Tenn may not be a front runner for Mario.

I hope we get this deal done. Signing Nicks and then cutting Faine means we'll only come out of pocket like 4 million a year for a monster of a player.

With TB signing Vjax it wouldn't surprise me if he re-signed with New York for a reasonable price.

I'm not trying to attack SD for what they're doing, but after losing the OG with injury, cutting your LT, letting Jackson walk, Tolbert might go elsewhere and Gates slowing down from what he was because of his foot it's hard to see what AJ is doing. To me you're a shell of the great 14-2 team from 4 years ago.

Are you serious? Good wide outs? Killing FA? Yeah right....how's this for sad....Crabtree is still the best receiver of the three. How ******* sad is that?

Quite honestly, all these signings that Baalke/Harbaugh are doing at WR is nothing more than desperation in my opinion. Their biggest weakness was WR and instead of just signing one young receiver (Wallace or Garcon), they decide to bring in all these bargain basement players. I'm sorry, im not a happy 49ers fan whatsoever because none of these signings make any sense whatsoever and arent for the long term.

These signings are a desperate attempt to fill their biggest need and the sad part is that all of these moves have the potential to be great (for one year) or blow up in their face and cause the team to implode. My money is on imploding because can you imagine if the Diva squad (Moss, Crabtree, Lloyd) dont get the ball thrown to them a lot, they start losing and start complaining? Forget about it....even Harbaugh wont be able to control that. And if that happens, I'll actually feel sorry for Smith because by all accounts, he seems like a good guy and just imagine if they all start going nuts on him for not getting him the ball all at the same time.

In a way, I wouldnt even blame or get mad at Smith if he leaves because if you look closely, you can see the potential for huge problems and if you're Smith, would you really want to deal with that? I wouldnt. Not at all. But whatever, just have to wait and see what happens.

Mcniel was never what he used to be, I'm hoping we resign Gaithers for some depth. Gates showed he can still ball and be really effective late last season. Honestly Tolbert doesn't really matter we drafted Ryan Mathews for a reason to be our #1 back. We may not be what we were 4 years ago, but as long as Rivers is on the team we're still competing especially in the AFC west.

Why would Gaither want to serve as a backup? He's one of the league's best young tackles. Why would he ever go for that?

Yeah because there are so many homerific Charger fans here, all three of us....

Meachem replaces VJ as a deep threat, but it's going to be up to Floyd to stay healthy to pick up the slack everywhere else. If he's on the field he can do it, but that's a big if.

But I do like the signing even if A.J. overpaid. Meachem should put up much better numbers in Turner's offense.

A lot of rumors are going around claiming that Wells already has a deal in principle with an unknown team, it's just a matter of signing the contract. Some people are speculating that it's the Titans. Maybe they're waiting to see if they land Manning, so they can structure other contracts accordingly?

What the hell is up with the Colts? They just re-signed Reggie Wayne to a three-year deal. Why sign a 33 year-old wideout to a team that won't have a chance to contend for years?

It wasn't too expensive of a deal and maybe they figure he'll help to develop Luck. It's far better than going into the year with Austin Collie and Blair White as the #1 and #2 receivers.

Just pick up Vince Young to back up Freeman and he will give you a title you have to have rubbed in your face all year as you go 8-8.

Exactly. See: Blaine Gabbert's WRs. It's not helpful to have an empty kitchen of WRs.

Cortland Finnegan is a fail on all levels. He's an overrated punk *****, and now he just drove the price up ridiculously so the Cowboys might not to get Carr after they already had a deal pretty much in place for around 7 a year.

If I find him one day I will personally kick his ass. No Andre Johnson needed.
